At one time the world called Babylon it's home, the human and fae races called Babylon their single place of respite and her king the king of all realms of life. That king was Gilgamesh, the king of heroes and king of the known world.

The king was something of a spectacle as he was adorned in golden armor accented with the pelt of a large black lion. He struck awe in his citizens and ruled the kingdom with the all wandering hand of a king chosen by the gods.

Gilgamesh gave the people of his kingdom an order, "Construct a tower of gold befitting my hollowed feet to the realm of the gods. We will storm the kingdoms of the divine and take our world back by our own hands." The people were enamored. Their king challenged the Gods with such power and resonance in his voice the races of the world rallied behind him.

The tower was built and the king sat upon his throne at the highest level with each layer of gold built higher the king's throne rose a platform more.

Just before breaking the clouds the gods sent the angel Gabriel to destroy the tower and reign judgment on the king of heroes and his people. Gabriel destroyed the tower and as he reigned righteous furry on the people Gilgamesh roared in a loud and furious voice.

Throwing Excalibur he shredded Gabriel with the ultimate of holy swords before it pierced Ea through the heart killing the lord of the gods instantly and dropping the sword to the lands of water that bordered Gilgamesh's kingdom.

With Ea killed the gate of the gods closed and language spread over the people of Babylon. Confused and heartbroken over the loss of friend, family and future the people began to consider bringing the gods back, perhaps Gilgamesh had been wrong and they needed the gods.

Gilgamesh was furious and bringing Enuma Elish from her gate he flooded the world killing all of human and Fae except those he kept locked away inside the walls of Urok.

Enuma Elish fueled the drowned and turned them into wandering undead bent on devouring the living and wandering the world for all eternity.

Locked inside their walls Gilgamesh's people starved to death and slowly one by one Gilgamesh became the last living being in his world....
