Kallo of Yöre - The Guardians of Nir'rayoth

She was born in the Eastern lands of Nir'rayoth in a place called the Marakatan Empire.

Her parents had given up on having a child and then she arrived and their dreams were fulfilled. They named her Ching Lan which means "beautiful orchid." She was true to her name, exotically beautiful and rare.

This rarity was in the guise of strange abilities and rapid development mentally and physically as a baby and toddler. Better had she been born with nothing to differentiate her from other children.

She was abducted by the Guardians of Nir'rayoth when she was three years old, her life stripped from her as well as her name.

She was given the name Jaden Li and thus her training began.

Twenty years later, a fireball of a woman stands confidently, with all weapons at the ready. All weapons including her body, her mind and her unquenchable passion to further the cause of her Goddess Yore. She was now a Knight of Yore. One of the few, the chosen and the famed.

She stands 5'1", which is small even by the standards of her people. What she lacks in height she makes up for in audacity.

She is normally clothed in a set of dark gray Shuhe, a common garment for everyday wear amongst her people. Intricate designs in red thread are embroidered along the sleeves, collar and in a thin line on either side of the chest. Other times she wears a set of burgundy armor with gold ornamentation.

She dual wields a pair of katanas but is also seen with a curved sword that has a crescent moon blade set into the hilt and the added support of a dagger.
Even without her weapons she is not without the ability to fight, her entire body honed to be a weapon. She is able to withstand excessive amounts of punishment from countless years of body training and conditioning.

Her hair is often pulled back in a severe braid but other times is allowed to flow freely, and none of this retracts from the ~Beautiful Orchid.~

Skills:

The Knights of Yöre undergo rigorous training throughout their lives. They are taught in secret, hiding in temples and hidden enclaves. They are a secretive order of warriors and guardians dedicated to protecting the material realm from the otherworldly dangers beyond the veil. They are trained in the knowledge of magic and how to defend against it, in demons and how to defeat them, and in countless other monsters and beasts who threaten the people of Nir'rayoth.

Jaden is a Kallo of Yöre. They are the agents of the Goddess of the Veil, her eyes and ears throughout the lands. They explore the unseen depths tainted by Oro's perverse machinations and are granted her blessing of longevity and minor resistances to abysmal magics as well as limited access to a few select divine arts for healing damage done and repelling the unholy.
