Appearance:

Though standing at only five feet and three inches tall, she is lean and solidly built suggesting a lifetime spent doing battle. She is olive complected, with dark brown eyes, and chestnut hair, that once held strands of gray although these have seemingly melted into thin air. While odds are she is somewhat older than she may appear, the fine lines around her eyes have vanished, and the woman seems to have simply - aged down a decade or so.

Given her somewhat advanced age and deep sense of practicality Nilan prefers to dress for comfort - not style. Usually clad in a pair of dark gray hakama and a long sleeved black shirt more befitting a man tucked into the top of the high-waisted pants. As the weather grows colder she has also taken to wearing a woolen wrap that encircles her shoulders and hangs to the middle of her thighs She is never without the massive black runesword Mournblade strapped across her back.

Skills:

Highly versed in a variety of weapons Nilan prefers the use of the broadsword, battleaxe, and throwing axes. She is also experienced with wilderness survival, repair of various structures and weapons, warfare tactics, seafaring, and makes a mean cup of coffee.

Like all Melnibonéans, she is completely immune to all poisons. Unlike all Melnibonéans she does not have magical abilities.
