Short and lithe with wide brown eyes, Scratch is the very image of boyhood at 13. Peeking up from between strands of tousled-looking black hair are two pert cat ears which constantly twitch and turn, tracking any nearby activity. Trailing behind him is a long black cat tail, usually curved up at the end as if in anticipation.

He can be seen donning the flowing velvet robes of his profession just as often as wearing a set of simple overalls. Lately he's most likely to be spotted proudly showing off a new high-cut tight white tee that reads "I <3 Wands". This cat is apparently inhibited neither by the high demands of fashion nor by the plebian constraints of practicality. One thing he's almost certain to be seen with, though, is his trusty brass wand, shaped into a cat's paw holding a glass orb at one end and bearing a small bell on the other, which will usually be seen tucked into his belt when not in use.
