His face is craggy and marked here and there with pinhole scars left behind by sparks from the forge. When not working, he tends to wear sleeveless tunics--leaving his well-muscled arms and shoulders bare--and loose pants; at the forge, the tunics come off, to be replaced by a heavy apron. Rarely is he found without a red, conical cap keeping hair out of his face.

When he walks, there is a slight but definite limp.
Skills:
He's pretty good with hammer and tong, and the other tools of the forge. For that matter, he has a knack for anything mechanical, and has been known to mutter that machines don't disappoint the way people do.

Though he usually expresses his artistic side in his metalwork, he is also a talented sculptor.
