Most of the time, you won't see him.

And if you do, you won't believe your eyes.

His realm is the darkness.

You may see him, for a moment. A glimmer of movement, a flash of olive green.

Perhaps, if you are very lucky, you may hear the whispering sound of the air moving around him before you look in the direction you saw motion.

But most times, he is a shadow. A ghost of a ghost, there and gone before your eyes can fully glimpse the form of the one that just saved your life.

Or the one that dropped you in your tracks.
