At 6'4" and 270lbs, Rick Speradon wasn't a plug-the-gap run-stuffing lineman. He maintained enough agility to burst through the line and reach the step-too-slow quarterbacks and the bigger slower running backs who didn't have great acceleration upon receiving the handoff.

Skills:

His football career, full of promise, was more of the flash-in-the-pan variety. Spending his first two years buried on the depth chart, he was traded to another team at the start of his 3rd season. The change of scenery proved beneficial and, over the next two years as a starter, he recorded 29.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, 9 tipped passes, 1 interception and 17 tackles for loss.

The next season, he found himself back down on the depth chart when a new coordinator installed a different scheme and at season's end, he was cut from the team. He joined several other teams for OTAs and training camps, but never made a game-day roster again.

Out of the league for several years now, he's looking for a new career and a way to regain lost athleticism.
