ANNOUNCEMENTS: New cycle news! This past Tuesday night, we watched AMT winner Gillette Brooke face off against Archmage Doran Ilnaren in a best of three showdown spectacular! We teetered on the edges of our seats as Doran won the first match, Gillette the second, and a sudden death standoff in the eleventh round of the third! In the end, Doran secured the second victory he needed to maintain his reign as Archmage! Congratulations, Doran, and well tried, Gillette!

Coming up is the Duel of Magic Spring 2025 All Ranks Tournament! This sensational spell-slinging extravaganza will take place on Saturday, March 22nd right here on Twilight Isle! Sign up now for early seeding access! Casting begins at 8:00 PM! Be there for some good food, tons of fun, and an assortment of fabulous prizes!

Note: Dominique Draegon won the Winter’s Fury on 12/15/24 in the Winter All Ranks tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Ranks tournament.

AROUND THE CITY: Birds are chirping again, and warmth is trickling back into the city!

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: At the end of this week, on Saturday, March 15th, Diamond Dakota Street will be hosting her Deluxe Dueling Day in the Outback! Don’t forget to dress your absolute best with the intent to impress! By doing so your name will be entered into a raffle for fabulous prizes!

The first round of this year’s DoS Madness tournament kicks off tonight! Thirty-two contenders are in the line-up to hack and slash their way to the number one spot, and if you haven’t placed your bets yet, hopefully you can get them in before it’s too late! Who is your favorite to win it all?

THE RING OF KLYTUS: The holder for this cycle is Sly Demonblade! The ring grants an additional focus over the normally allotted amount, but is still limited to the maximum of 3 foci.

Cycle Ranks Through Week 1

Cycle rankings show how duelists perform over the course of the cycle, with the top performer earning the Ring of Klytus (provided they began the cycle below the rank of Mage). To balance percentage performance duelists are broken into 3 brackets based on number of duels fought, with top accolades achievable by only those in the upper tier. Duelists are ordered first by bracket, then by winning percentage, followed by the number of wins and lastly by low rank to high.
