Notes from the Isle

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Friday night the Isle was overrun by shadows! Full Moon Madness was underway, and so many of YOU came out to fight! The battle was long, but it seems for now that the outpouring of magical aid the community delivered did the trick of chasing away the darkness. Thank you! A special bonus thanks as well to all of our Keepers for Answering the Druids’ Call and invoking their elements to illuminate the Isle in a variety of unique ways! Stay alert, as we may not have seen the last of these of these invasive monsters.

Trinity and Droet met on the Isle this past Wednesday to complete the Challenge for the Tower of Water, which by the Keeper’s will was fought within the special ring of Poseidon! These two determined spell casters took us all the way with three full matches, concluding with Droet narrowly notching another defense! Well tried, Trinity, and congratulations, Droet!

Tonight at 8:00 PM here on the Isle is the October 2024 Archmage Tournament, and though we’re past the deadline for early seeding, it’s not too late to sign up! Come on out to collect your little slice of moonlight, and perhaps win the right to challenge the Archmage, Colleen MacLeod herself! Some of you may have even just earned the right to participate! We hope to see you there!

Note: Amaris Silhaeven won the Earthwarden’s Ring on 9/22/24 in the Autumn All Ranks tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Ranks tournament.

AROUND THE CITY: The Pachinko Palace over in Kabuki Street celebrates its 10th year anniversary this October, and the parlor will be set up for Trick or Treat on October 31s! Stop on by to explore the scare trail and candy! We’ve also heard talk of some new shop opening up all over the realm known as The Lost Cauldron! Not only in RhyDin City, but with doorways here on the Isle as well! This sounds like something interesting to investigate!

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: Rumor has it that Haru Jeong has become the next Diamond of the Outback by winning last week’s Diamond Quest CXIX! Congratulations! The Outback has been overrun with a bevy of challenges this past week! Rel met up with Droet on Tuesday night but was unable to wrest PathFinder from his hands! The masochistic fashionista Koy crushed Sal’s third attempt at taking IceDancer just last night, too! On Thursday night, Hailey was able to force Nero to relinquish his hold on FireStar, however! Congratulations! And now Gillette has issued challenge to Myth for ShadoWeaver! Stay tuned for more details on when that one will go down!

But wait! That’s not all! IFL 2024 Registration is now open! Get your teams together and registered by November 4th if you want to take part in this team dueling extravaganza! Looking for a team to join or players to add to your pool? Check out the advertising board, where you can put your name on the waiting list, too. Not sure how to take part? Coming soon: Trick or Treat at the Arena! Check out the spooky specials that will be on offer at the Wolves Den Bistro, and be sure to show up in costume on October 31st when you duel! Word is that there will be a contest for the best dressed, so put in your maximum effort to win the top prize! In other Arena news, the Baron of Dragon’s Gate is looking for a Squire, too.
