ANNOUNCEMENTS: Due to unfortunate events the Tower of Air is without a Keeper, and a new one is needed! The first week of the Tower of Air Competition: Riding a Mirage of Wind has already finished! It's not too late to join the call throw your name in the running to become the newest Keeper of Air! The second week begins tonight at the start of regulation! Good luck! The Mirage Seashells you collect after your magic duels can be put to use back at the Mirage Island!

The Tower of Water has a new Keeper! The Droet, the runner-up of the recent Archmage Tournament put his Keeper's Blessing to good use within the ring of Poseidon as he faced off against Dris! After a stunning three-part match the challenger gained the upperhand and seized victory! Congratulations to Droet and well reigned Dris!

The Umbra School of Magical Arts fall 2022 term begins this coming September! No better time to visit the Twilight Market for back to school deals! Lestrange's has already announed a back to school deal for any current students or those soon-to-be! Keep an eye out for those special back to school flags waving at select storefronts, you will no doubt find some magical deals waiting for you! (Psst, Go House Gallows! Stay on your brooms!)

Note: Serenity Silverhand won the Empowered Fire Gem Wand on 06/12/2022 in the Summer All Ranks tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Ranks tournament.

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: Outback challenge news! The fall of the Opal Holders continue with the defeat of Reign and Droet by challengers Nayun and Koyliak! Both the Battle for FireStar and first of the Double Simon Challenge went a full three matches! Salvador currently stands as the lone Opal defender of the Original 5 after defeating challenger Mairead in two straight matches to keep hold of PathFinder! Will Eregor be able to hold off Matt's attempt at MoonBeryl or will Salvador be the only survivor of the Diamonds Emerald Decree? Find out when the MoonBeryl challenge takes place this coming Monday the 8th at 10 PM (ET)!

Over in the Arena we have the results of the Kaiju King: King of the Ring! Gatito was the lone survival of the splashing water and was crowned the Kaiju King! Congratulations! Speaking of congratulations.. A big one goes to Anubis Karos with his defeat of Baron Jackson of New Haven! With his claim of New Haven complete Anubis is the first duelist in Duel of Swords History to hold all eight of the Baronies! A short list have only held all seven before the introduction of Cadentia, but now it is Anubis who stands alone. We wonder who will try and climb the top of that mountain next?

Be sure to come TONIGHT at 10 PM (ET) for the Battlefield Park challenge between Amaris and Baron Hye-jin Ri and the Challenge for Cadentia between Nero and Karma the next day, Monday the 8th at 9:30 PM (ET)!

Cycle Ranks Through Week 1

Cycle rankings show how duelists perform over the course of the cycle, with the top performer earning the Ring of Klytus (provided they began the cycle below the rank of Mage). To balance percentage performance duelists are broken into 3 brackets based on number of duels fought, with top accolades achievable by only those in the upper tier. Duelists are ordered first by bracket, then by winning percentage, followed by the number of wins and lastly by low rank to high.
