Notes from the Isle

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Last Sunday we had quite the turn out for the Archmage Tournament and while our new Ring of Kyltus holder, Szuzak Mos had quite the showing, it was former Keeper of Air, Jaycy Ashleana who went undefeated in the single elimination tournament and set up a challenge against Mallory Maeda! That challenge was held on the Isle last night, (called by my Valentine, Alasdair by the way), and the two went all three matches with the final result of…. A New Archmage and the newest Triple Crown, Jaycy! Congratulations Jaycy and well reigned Mallory! I know that I’m personally looking forward to the number of rainbows that Jaycy is well known for casting, all about the Isle and maybe even they can be spotted from the Celestial Citadel soon!

Szuzak may not have come away with the ability to challenge for the Archmage, but he did obtain the Keeper’s Blessing! He’s now challenged for the Tower of Air, which may be held next week, so please look forward to it! If the challenge is anything like the Tower of Air party that Keeper of (Darkness and) Air Karma threw yesterday, its sure to be a BLAST. (hee hee!) Be sure to bring your favorite wine to it too! I hear Anya is calling the challenge and she likes her glass full!

Speaking of other challenges in the pipeline, next up is the Tower of Fire challenge between Keeper Rachael and challenger Jackson! Does he have what it takes to keep the PyroMaster’s flames at bay and obtain his first key? Or will Rachael block his attempt with a great wall of fire? Goodness gracious – its sure to be a hot one! Come out this Wednesday to cheer them on, and say congratulations to Dris who is calling it—He just became a Mage!

The Tower of Water has also been challenged for, this time a repeat challenge from Michelle, who is focused on her business there. I’m pretty sure her and Captain Morgan have had lunch to discuss the details of this challenge, but I haven’t had any little birdies tell me more information about this just yet, so keep your eyes on the boards for more coming soon! These two are sure to cause quite a splash when the matches happen! Dress accordingly!

Tonight not only kicks off the new cycle, but it is the Fall All Rank’s Tournament! Help us welcome in the season (even if the seasons don’t really change much on Twilight Isle) and win some awesome prizes! This little scarecrow is super helpful, and I hope he’ll help your harvest season start off right! Or maybe you need a broom, not to sweep your opponents away, but to fly about town with! These two prizes and more are on the prize list, so come out one and all tonight at 8 pm est and let’s have fun!

Also, don’t want to alarm anyone but have you seen anything strange(r) about the Isle lately? I’m pretty sure I saw a ship out in the waters, but it disappeared! If you see anything spooky, let me know! Let’s investigate!

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: In the Arena, the Round Robin Cup is underway! LuvBonez and Rock Hards fought on Thursday and there’s more to come! Be sure to show up in your team’s merchandise and promote them while cheering on your favorites! While the Round Robin Cup has the barony of Seaside as a prize for the MVP, the End of Summer Cycle All Ranks Tournament in the Arena has TWO baronies up for grabs, Old Market and Dockside! Be sure to sign up for this one and try to get your hands on a ring, and much more! The tournament will be this coming Friday, September 24th and the weapons will start swinging at 8:10 PM EST Sharp! Ha, get it? Because its Swords! Tee hee!

In the Outback, there’s a challenge for PathFinder, which Darkota just recently accepted. Maybe Dakota was tied up with PathFinder vines, (does the opal do that?) --- Or a case! What mystery is she trying to solve? The one we’re watching out for is the mystery of when this challenge will be and if she’ll knock out another defense or if Salvador will snag another opal in his Outback history! Do you think maybe Salvador wants some avocados? I think I heard Dakota say PathFinder was good for that…
