Notes from the Isle

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Tonight is the Spring All Ranks Tournament, where top prize is the Key to the Tower of Fire!! Come out and enjoy the fresh tastes of the ocean because the evening’s buffet consists of poke bowls and tons of sushi, free to spectators and casters alike! The cocktails for the evening, one of them being Twilight Storm Punch looks magically refreshing as well! Tournaments with a tower’s stake at hand are almost always hotly contested so be sure to be there at 8 PM EST to see things kick off!

Last week we held the Archmage Tournament and the current Keeper of Water, Mairead stood undefeated and won the right to challenge current Archmage, Mallory! The Bloodwitch (Archbloodmage?) and the teenage Keeper will be fighting this coming Tuesday, March 16 at 9:30 pm EST! Speaking of challenges, last night was the challenge for the Tower of Earth, and it was a big one! Anya made sure to use her prize from the Winter All Ranks Tournament before it expired, the Mythical Grace Maker Breaker Grant and issued challenge against Bailey to shorten his grace period and jump into the rings! The two made fast work of both acceptance and setting up a challenge time (maybe to try and edge their bets and see if one of them could jump into the Spring All Ranks Tournament tonight), and last night they had a ground shaking challenge series against each other. Going all three matches in the best of three format, it was Anya who edged out in the final lead and won the tower! It’s her first tower, so be sure to give her a congratulations the next time you see her!

A Dream of Spring has returned! The Giant Sakura tree is in full bloom and wishes for spring are popping up along its limbs. Will you see the cherry blossom deer frolicking along the river banks while you take a peaceful tour along the rivers on the Isle? Or will any of the water fae play light mischievous tricks on you as you watch the pink petals fall and drift about on the light breezes?

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: In the Arena, Wednesday Night showed Hope defending the Overlord Title from Caleb, the Baron of Old Temple in a best of three match that seemed to be a honking good time! Has the Arena gone to the birds? Does The Line owe them money or is it just Charles who attracts them? The Winter Cycle All Ranks Tournament has been announced, so be sure to sign up for your chance for one of the grants offered out. Madness begins officially tonight, so if you haven’t gotten your bets in to The Line, be sure to do so right away before things close up! Sounds like Lilith is looking for some poetry and a squire for Cadentia! Do you have what it takes to make her and her wife laugh?

In the Outback, Bailey defended PathFinder Tuesday night against Rachael in a fiercely contested match series that all came down to sudden death in the final third match. Amazing! If anyone can go several rounds toe to toe against a rock hard statue, it’s Rachael! That is her favored team of choice in IFL after all! On Saturday night, Mart defended in 2 matches and thus keeps ShadoWeaver, but the challenger Haru was seen leaving the Outback with a smile on his face to accompany his fresh bruises. Will he be back in the challenge game once those heal up? Please look forward to it!
