Notes from the Isle

ANNOUNCEMENTS: We begin our Twilight Isle News weekly recap with the results of the Tower of Earth challenge between Keeper Rachael Blackthrone and challenger Morgan LaFey! It seemed both luck and a bit of skill was on Morgan's side (Not to be confused with Morgan Chae, our Keeper of Air) as he was able to best Keeper Blackthorne in two straight duels! While I'm sure fans of the Keeper were disappointed at her loss we can proudly say that this isn't the end for Rachael and we are sure she will return to one of the Elemental Towers in the future. As for the exchanging of the key to the Tower of Earth, many of you may have heard noise from the Tower of Earth last night.. No need to panic! It was just a huge party!

We now move onto pending challenges — the first being the Tower of Fire challenge between Keeper Eden Parker and challenger Bellamere that we wrote of last week. We now have a date to when the challenge is going down! Wednesday, July 29th at 10:00 PM (ET) will be when the pyrotechnics collide! Be sure to come out and cheer for your favorite!

New Challenges! Our first comes from Jaycy Ashleana for the Tower of Air! Morgan Chae (Not to be confused with Morgan LaFey, our new Keeper of Earth) will be stepping up to take on his first possible defense of his Tower! Will the new Cycle of Morgan's continue or will Jaycy put an end to the 50% hold the Morgan's have over the Elemental Towers?

Not to have a Tower left alone, our second new and now third pending challenge is from Michelle Montoya for the Elemental Tower of Water! Michelle has some history with the Tower of Water, a bit of a dark history at that, and she claims to have unfinished business but there's one little problem.. Eregor's claim to the Tower of in her way! Eregor has been on fire (I couldn't think up a water-related replacement) with his defenses and he may be poised to continue the streak!

General Reminder! Dueling on Friday Nights will now be taking place on Twilight Isle! Enjoy double the nights of Twilight Isle per week on Tuesday and Friday starting at 7 PM (ET)!

Note: Mairead Harker won an Empowered Fire Gem on 6/14/2020 in the Summer All Rank's tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Rhodes won a Ragnarok Infused Magic Orb on 6/14/2020 in the Summer All Rank's tournament. This awards the use of a Mage Spell in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Rhodes selected Nether Ray.

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: Our News From Other Venues will be Duel of Swords centric tonight as it seems action in the Outback must be brewing behind the scenes! In active challenges we see the Battlefield Park challenge between Salvador Delahada and Baron Matt Simon being accepted — and the same can be said for the Dragon's Gate challenge with Baroness Mairead Harker accepting the challenge by our Archmage Bailey Raptis. While Baron Harker has listed acceptable dates and times, along with callers, both of the in-progress challenges are still in the in the scheduling phase! For more up to date information please keep an eye on the Arena's corkboard!

Alignment News! Mart Di'luna, the newest Baron of Old Temple, has aligned Loyal to Overlord Lilith Anderson!

Now we look to the future with the announcement of the August 6th: Water Fight — King of the Ring Tournament! All twelve of the Sign Up slots have been filled, but there's still a possibility to get in — so throw your name into the standby mix!
