I believe I should have the number one seed because I have the second highest WoL total ever in the history of the sport and currently the highest among active duelers. Besides the fact I've held multiple baronies I think the one overriding factor even more than my WoL record I think qualifies me as the most deserving number one seed is this.
I am the only dueler in this tournament who can claim to be one of the Original Nine Barons of Swords

Kalamere entered the Tournement, E. He's the first holder of the 5th.
So, there's two.

I did not know Kalamere was in this tourney.
Then both Kalamere and I should get number one seeds for being original barons of Swords.
Thanks Karen.

It's been 12 years since that tournament... it's been 10 since I won the tournament that gave me the shot at Leto and earned my 2nd Overlordship.
With no real accomplishments in a decade I can hardly claim a top slot in this tournament. I hope to be a little higher, but in all honesty I could be slotted in a 15th or 16th position and not complain about it.
I'd certainly have no business in a number 1 slot. Personally I'd look to the warlord rankings (if that's even still maintained) and potentially TDL records to slot the number one's.

Thoughts regarding the seeding

M'lord Duel Chris,
Regardin' thy question of whom should be a number one seed..... I propose thy followin' be considered to fill those slots.
Rena Cronin – BARON (1 seed)
Maria Graziano – BARON (1 seed)
Karen Wilder – BARON (1 seed)
G'nort Dragoon-Talanador – BARON (1 seed)
Kheldar Drasinia – BARON (1 seed)
My reason'n be that these duelers 'ave attained thy rank o' Baron and are currently members o' the Barons Council. Certain privileges I believe should be extended to this group o' duelers. Realizin' that there are but only four slots available, m' suggestion would be to 'ave the newest Baron "Kheldar Drasinia" slip to thy second seed. Tis' not m' intention to slight thy Baron but tis only four slots that can be filled.
Any o' the followin' duelers should surely be consider'd for thy second and third seeds based on past accomplishments within' and out of thy rings.....
Cassius Gaius Maximius – WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Cletus Ganderfald – WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Elijah Solariss – WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Magnus Eques - WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Sartan – WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Kalamere Ar'din - WARLORD (2-3 seed)
Bein' short on time n' memory I propose for ye' consideration thy short list o' duelers noted above. So many choices.... I for one envy ye' not in ye' task set before ye'.
Merhaps thy remaining duelers be assigned their seeds based 'pon thy rank w' recent duelin' skills displayed therefore taking precedence o'er those of us from back n' thy day.

For the Madness of the tourney, I would surprise everyone and place the #1 seed by the duelist with the most longevity, the worst record and least ranking. I would do this based on the longevity of known history, not written using DoS history only.
Afterall, it all comes down to who the final #1 standing is in the end. It would also serve the greater of the Rings of Honor to so honor the unknown contiguous returners. While, unknown for skill or purpose to become a Baron, they have provided a contnual loyalty to serving the Rings with Honor.
All the precedence and emphasis while well deserved by the many fine duelists and even I had a hard time picking my favorites; picked based on most of my time with DoS being a Commoner and having dueled so many. I chose for myself four duelist that have dueled me at my level, even at my request for them to do otherwise when they were at the level of Warlord or higher.
My respect for them and the honor in which I have placed through my eyes upon them has been well earned. And while, I would love to name them and others that are so impressive, it would serve no purpose for the greater good of the Rings of Honor to do so.
My opinion about this indicates, that extreme mandness should begin with placement of the #1 seed by choosing the worst of the worst!
Ok, Call me Mad!

Are you kidding? Realry! Me think commoner Vow Demure visit my homerand and do more than just rook at poppy field pranted by relratives. Someone prease check his pockets. It a rudicrous suggestion to have rong-term rooser praced in top spot of bracket instead of rong-term good duerers put there first. I berieve your suggestion is more raughabo than my accent.
