ANNOUNCEMENTS: The time has come once again for all ambitious mages to gather! The February 2025 Archmage Tournament has been announced! This spell-casting spectacular will take place on Saturday, February the 22nd! Sign up now for your chance to take on current reigning Archmage Doran Ilnaren!

Need a little warm-up before the big event? Come on out to Twilight Isle this Friday evening, February the 14th, to celebrate me: Dris! It’s my birthday and I’m giving away TwinWins to every qualifying Magic duelist who comes out to help me celebrate! Let’s make it a mystical , magical, and magnificently musical night to remember!

Note: Dominique Draegon won the Winter’s Fury on 12/15/24 in the Winter All Ranks tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Ranks tournament.

AROUND THE CITY: Governor Kruger Allen’s Hope House grand opening gala has been moved to Thursday, February the 13th! This is going to be a weekend full of parties!

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: Three-time and current Diamond Dakota Street has issued her rules of the Outback, a long-standing tradition that nearly every top title-holder of the Duel of Fists has a little fun with during their reign. Returning pugilist Melanie Rostol has issued a Challenge for ShadoWeaver to Gillette Brooke, citing that she’s pretty sure that Opal belongs to her. This challenge was postponed, and we await further details. And though the season is not yet over, the IFL Powerhouse Party Tournament has been announced, coming to the Gardens on Wednesday, February 19th!

Overlord Anubis Karos has awarded a challenge grant to Great of Strength teammate Crysta Chasm. Just who do we think she’ll challenge? It certainly won’t be Sly Demonblade, because Gillette Brooke got to issuing a Challenge for Dockside first! There are plenty of other eligible baronies to choose from, however. Hopefully we’ll see some more action in the Arena before the upcoming and recently announced 2025 Madness Tournament kicks off! Sign ups start for this yearly Swords extravaganza now!

Cycle Ranks Through Week 6

Cycle rankings show how duelists perform over the course of the cycle, with the top performer earning the Ring of Klytus (provided they began the cycle below the rank of Mage). To balance percentage performance duelists are broken into 3 brackets based on number of duels fought, with top accolades achievable by only those in the upper tier. Duelists are ordered first by bracket, then by winning percentage, followed by the number of wins and lastly by low rank to high.
