-Week 6 of 9-

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Kira challenged, and though the Keeper of Fire was stripped of their title due to inactivity, a champion was named. Keeper of Air, Jaycy stepped in to defend the title, and they went all three matches! Kira won the first, with Jaycy managing to take the wins in the final two matches. As previously stated, the key to the Tower of Fire will now wait to be the prize for the upcoming Spring All Rank’s Tournament. Please look forward to it!

The Tournament that is announced this week however, is the Archmage Tournament! It’ll be Sunday Night, March 7th at 8 PM EST. Who will win the chance to challenge current Archmage Mallory? Or maybe you’ll get your chance on your own Keeper’s Blessing!

Note: Sylista Convor won the Elemental Fury Tome on 12/13/2020 in the Winter All Rank's tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Colleen MacLeod (PrlUnicorn) won a Ragnarok Infused Magic Orb on 12/13/2020 in the Winter All Rank's tournament. This awards the use of a Mage Spell in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Colleen selected Immolation.

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: In the Arena, lots of challenges went out last Sunday Night! By the end of it all, every Baron (and the Overlord) were under challenge. Are they all getting ready for Madness? Sign ups for that is now open too! Be sure to check out the Arena corkboard this week for all the latest details on upcoming challenges, who has defended, who wins themselves a new ring and learn about the upcoming Madness event hosted by Sync!

In the Outback, they’re having their All Rank’s Tournament tonight! Will you walk home with Fistmelda’s Tusk? There’s a few other prizes, one being the chance to train with the current Diamond, Jaycy! In Opal challenge news, Anubis is still holding a torch for FireStar and has challenged Eden again for it, and Rachael challenged Bailey for PathFinder! Check the Outback corkboard for further details about these challenges as they come up!

THE RING OF KLYTUS: The holder for this cycle is Haru Jeong! The ring grants an additional focus over the normally allotted amount, but is still limited to the maximum of 3 foci.

Cycle Ranks Through Week 6

Cycle rankings show how duelists perform over the course of the cycle, with the top performer earning the Ring of Klytus (provided they began the cycle below the rank of Mage). To balance percentage performance duelists are broken into 3 brackets based on number of duels fought, with top accolades achievable by only those in the upper tier. Duelists are ordered first by bracket, then by winning percentage, followed by the number of wins and lastly by low rank to high.
