ANNOUNCEMENTS: Fitting for the recently begun Cycle of Air, Karma has been challenged for it by Jaycy! These lovely ladies will be fighting this coming Thursday, January 28 at 10 pm EST! They’re sure to take our breath away!

Newly Triple Crowned Archmage Mallory has playfully suggested some Archmage Rules! Students get free snacks on the Twilight Isle, be sure to wear black on Tuesdays and come share your stellar star puns with Max!

Note: Sylista Convor won the Elemental Fury Tome on 12/13/2020 in the Winter All Rank's tournament. This awards the usage of Elemental Fury in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Colleen MacLeod (PrlUnicorn) won a Ragnarok Infused Magic Orb on 12/13/2020 in the Winter All Rank's tournament. This awards the use of a Mage Spell in regulation matches until the next All Rank's tournament. Colleen selected Immolation.

NEWS FROM OTHER VENUES: In the Arena, Olaf defended Dockside against Rhiannon last Sunday, and later in the week Olaf went Renegade to create the ability to have a challenge queue and a showdown for who can take over Dockside! If he defends against all three who have signed up, he’ll be retiring the ring! Think he’s trying to get as much money as he can before leaving town?

Anubis challenged Keeper and Baron and Opal holder Mart for Old Temple! Sounds like this is going down on Thursday, where there will be a double challenge night in the Arena! (A triple challenge night overall since that’s the same night the Tower of Air challenge is happening!) The other challenge in the Arena happening that night is the one for Dragon’s Gate! Eden’s looking to reclaim the barony she held before for over a year’s length of time, but Mairead (who has held the ring for over 300 days at this time) isn’t going to give it up easy!

Then a week from today will be the challenge for Seaside between Anya and Baron Salvador! It sounds like she wanted to make things a little interesting with adding money on the line, but Salvador is just eager to fight, no need to pay him!

And just in case I’ve missed anything in the Arena, I highly suggest keeping track of the goings on at their cork! There’s lots of information there!

Over in the Outback, things are settling down momentarily with the latest addition of the Diamond Rules and the Badass Board. So get out there and get challenging! We want to see some fights! There’s nobles to be won after all.

THE RING OF KLYTUS: The holder for this cycle is Haru Jeong! The ring grants an additional focus over the normally allotted amount, but is still limited to the maximum of 3 foci.

Cycle Ranks Through Week 2

Cycle rankings show how duelists perform over the course of the cycle, with the top performer earning the Ring of Klytus (provided they began the cycle below the rank of Mage). To balance percentage performance duelists are broken into 3 brackets based on number of duels fought, with top accolades achievable by only those in the upper tier. Duelists are ordered first by bracket, then by winning percentage, followed by the number of wins and lastly by low rank to high.
