City Square is a large intersection near the center of RhyDin, known to locals as the Four Points. Half-timbered medieval houses that lean over the street vie for space with brick workhouses with belching smokestacks, grand old temples with leering gargoyles, and wide-windowed shops with their wares spilling out onto tables in the street. Two bars, a cafe and a hotel face the roundabout in the center, circled by trucks, wagons, vespas and landspeeders, slowed by the steady stream of foot traffic.
The roundabout contains a small statue park, each one standing on a broad stone dais, perfect for sitting. Much of the ground is used by buskers and bands playing an outdoor show, vendors spreading out blankets for their wares, and hand-wheeled carts packed with cheap, greasy food.
