((Hello! Can someone please help me with a couple questions... I feel like a dinosaur here.. I have been spoiled by aol I suppose.... Where do I find and/or post challenges? Who are the Barons, and who is able to be challenged? How do I get a little picture on my posts like everybody else?

On the section of these forums marked Duel of Swords. Not the OOC one.

Who are the Barons, and who is able to be challenged?

On the main page, under Duel of Swords, click on Standings, which will give you all the Barons etc.

How do I get a little picture on my posts like everybody else?

Go into your profile, and scroll down to where you see "Avatars." Select from the Gallery.

Didn't mail you cause it's likely you'll get a lot of responses.

Here is a Q i have. How are we to find Emails now. The standings don't reflect the person Email seeing as we are not just on AOL anymore.

What person's e-mail? Are you talking about the standings keeper, duelers, or what?

Avery means that non aol users dont have their e-mail addresses on the standings.... (I think) I will be switching to MSN starting in June, so I have the same question.

This issue has been thought of. A few ideas have been kicked around, but a working solution hasn't been put in place yet, partly because we want to make sure that the email addresses are protected from harvesting.

Anyway, just posting so that you know your question has been seen and isn't being ignored.

A solution is in progress.

I didn't think of it until i relaized I needed an Email to post my challenge to and could only access it through AOL. And i know like my email is the same but if you didn't have AOL you would never know how to contact me. Unless it's in my profile.. but had i not posted you would be sol.

Wouldn't it be easier to just use the private messages available on the board if you want to contact an individual?

I don't think the private msg functionality is working right now.

That's one of the proposed ideas. To build a form based msg handler that can send to the person without revealing the email address.
