Doran Ilnaren sets Keepership Record!

Once again, Archmage Doran Ilnaren has made history in the annals of the Duel of Magic. He has become the second duelist to reign as Archmage for over one year and the first to hold the Keepership of the Citadel of Stars (Keeper of Quintessence) for over one year.

The first to have held the title of Archmage for over one year was William Robert Wulfson, who held the tile for 455 days during the period of 2 Feb 1998 to 3 May 1999.

The Citadel of the Stars was first held by then Archmage Melgarth Mithmellon, who gained the Keepership on 21 Sept 2000. This was also the date marking the beginning of the reigns of the first four elemental Keepers:
Lady Blue - Water
Irus of Masaca - Air
Syous of Mystara - Fire
Xerzes Maureen - Earth
