Challenge for Dockside

Post by Goldglo »

Mira,

Since I had a very early exit from this year's Madness, I thought it might be fun to revisit last year's Finals where you took me to the proverbial woodshed and won the tournament.

I hereby challenge for Dockside.

Tonight we saw Baroness Mira Burke and challenger Matt Simon fight for the Dockside Barony. Matt fought under a black and yellow banner, and had no second; his kin, Koyliak and Thia and Malachite, were his people of honor. Mira fought under her black banner with her symbols, and also had no second; her person of honor was not named, but he knew who he was.

Matt opened an early three-point lead, and in the fifth round Mira got onto the board. Matt closed to match point in the sixth, but Mira held him off and staged a comeback until the eleventh round, when he kicked her off of her feet to win the match.

Well reigned to Mira, and well won, Matt. Dockside aligns loyal to the Overlord.

Bets on the length of this reign? Going to say a bit into 2024.
