This challenge happened tonight! Anubis and Morgan Chae met in the Arena at the right time and stepped into the ring to settle this!

The challenger was the 20+ year veteran of the duels, a wily veteran, Anubis Karos! He dueled under the black banner with a silver Eye of Ra being threaded by a cobra, hood splayed and fangs out. His Second was former Baron (and current Overlord challenger) Salvador Delahada. This Lady of Honor was Tetra.

On the other side, the Baron was dueling under the multi-colored banner of the Chae Dynasty. His Second for the evening was Warlady (and current Dockside challenger, that match is tomorrow night!) Neekylah Lang. Morgan Chae didn't fight for the honor of anyone.

This was settled in a best of three series, and it only took two.

The first match saw the Defender score first, in the first round! However, it was quick and dirty after that with Anubis scoring off 5 consecutive unanswered points! He kept at the defender and in the end won 5-1 in 6 rounds!

The second duel took longer but Anubis led the entire time! He got out to 2-0 in 2 rounds before Morgan got on the board with a higher attack. They had a break but then Anubis resumed the scoring! He got to match point before they had another break but then in the 8th round, Anubis got the final point he needed!

Anubis wins 5-1 in 6 and then 5-1 in 8 to take the Cadentia Barony! Well won, Anubis, and well reigned Morgan Chae!

Anubis wants to talk to Overlady Hope before he declares an alignment.
