A family quarrel

10 AM, that was the time she had to be there. She was there a bit early even, waiting. Standing in the ring at the Twilight Isle. A soft breath escapes her. No Fio. No Amund. Just her, and her longsword. Memorial on her hip. Armor on her person. The stygian breastplate, the leathers. She was ready for a battle.

There was a thunderous slam, as the god slams into the ring, standing upright as he dusts himself off. His head wrapped in a bandana, sunglasses on his eyes. A sneer on the man’s face. Standing taller than most mortals. His muscled form on display. A white t-shirt underneath a leather vest. Camo cargo pants and combat boots. “You ready kiddo?” He asks.

“I’m ready, old man.” She draws her sword and moves into a ready stance, as he cracks his knuckles. Not bringing a weapon forth.

“No audience to watch me pummel you down?” He asks with a smirk. “Shame.” He shrugs, as she darts forward, bringing her blade towards his chest, flames igniting along the weapon, and her body moving fast, faster than one can even expect a mortal to go. But...she’s fighting a god. His hand comes up and connects, catching the blade and holding it there. “Hm? Isn’t this that sword that belonged to that bitch?” He asks, as his hand grabs a hold of the blade and pulls it free from her grip. She blinks a bit in surprise and she lets the fire collect into her hands and slams it into his chest, even as she sets the flames ablaze on him. He simply picks up the weapon and studies it, before he casually slams it into the ground. The blade shattering. As the flames lick his form and seem to..do nothing to him. Her eyes widened.

“N-no..” She says softly, before she jumps high into the air, fire arcing along her foot as she brings down into a heavy axe kick. And again, his hand catches the blow.

“Too slow kiddo.” He turns and slams her into the ground, a soft grunt escaping her lips as she tries to turn to attack him, but instead she’s dragged back towards him, and his hand slams into her face, keeping her down, the sickening crack of her jaw breaking filling the air. She tries to take a wild swing, before his hand catches her wrist, and then a slow squeeze until her wrist is broken. A soft cry of pain, before he grips her head and begins to slam her into the ground. Slamming again and again into the ground by her head, before he picks her up by her throat and hurls her into the side of the ring. The sound of several bones breaking as she hits the side. She tries to push herself up with her left arm, the unbroken one. But instead a boot slams down onto her back, a crunch as she feels the pain spark in her. “Nope, you can stay on the ground.” He says with a widening smirk. As he begins to slam his boot into her again and again. Stomping over and over. “Such an useless, arrogant, sack of fucking shit. You can’t even win a fight. You lost your challenge, lost the tournaments. You haven’t even killed a single soul since you’ve been here. Instead you make peace and fucking love. What a terrible daughter you are. Can you imagine how you make me look? My eldest demigod daughter is fucking preaching peace of all fucking things. But you don’t care about that, cause you're just a selfish, self centered bitch, like your grandmother.” He sneers at that. And then he picks her up, by her head, blood coming from her mouth, from her nose. Tears streaming down her face, as her ability to keep awake wanes. “I hope you're ready for a few hours of torment, cause I’m not stopping for a while.” He says with a soft chuckle and then he sucker punches her.

An hour or so passes, and the god is gone, all that remains is the broken, battered, and bleeding form of the red headed woman. The hilt of her sword clenched tightly in her hand. Her armor ruined. Her clothing in tatters, and her blood pooling in the ring. Some of the staff stumble on her, and call for EMTs. A few minutes later, healers and medics are there, checking the girl, seeing her alive, thanks to the wards. She is brought quickly to a hospital shortly afterwards.

And that..is where the story leaves off.
