I haven't challenged for an Opal in entirely too long, so I want to change that. I pick MoonBeryl, which is apparently held by an anvil. That sounds unpleasant to punch, but I'll find out.

That is way too many letters to tie together, from here on out I’ll have to just refer to you as XM, or 990. Thank you for your interest in MoonBeryl products. I've read over your challenge... and by that I mean everything on the board that was above your challenge got read... I had to grab a chair, but I tore off a coupon for a free trombone lesson... SCORE!

Since I am the only one who took one of those numbers so far... I'd say I'm up 1 to 0... unless you're the one who put that up there to entice me. If so, I don't think it's very ethical to challenge someone who hasn't had their first lesson to a trombone match. Bad on you Mr. 990!

Of course, I must be the only one who believes that, since I saw this addendum to the challenge that says it is approved. Someone really wants to hear some cool trombone licks…Kalamere!

I fear I must point out a couple minor inconsistencies in your correspondence. To begin, let’s start with my title. MoonBeryl is currently being held by THE Anvil, and while I do agree that hitting an anvil is not a great prospect, you will need to concern yourself more with when The Anvil takes it upon himself to hit back.

I have requested that the current Diamond, Andrea ‘Apple’ Anderson, temporarily suspend Diamond Rule number Ten as it applies to Spandex and The Anvil. Hopefully she’ll comply or I will literally have nothing to wear.

I have recently learned that you, or parts of you have been encased in metal. Feel free to bring your metal chassis, please do not be surprised when The Anvil is forced to grab his hammer. That will just be a hard night for both of us.

Let me inform you that I like your initials and the Roman Numbers that they represent. I have some more that should be taken into account. IX-I-I. I'll be sure they're posted everywhere on the night in question, lest we forget.

It was going to be a much bigger delivery than Andrea might have assumed, mostly because The Anvil couldn't decide on which boots worked best for Lilith.

He did take Ali to the fanciest restaurant he knew of, even if he had know idea if she liked Borscht.

He'd even managed to find a couple pairs of boots for the women in his life. Both had names that started with A, but one was much taller than the other.

No one would ever accuse him of not dressing for maximum impact, or not showing up ready to fight.

It took 3 bouts, with 2 of them going to SUDDEN DEATH!, but in the end Xerzes unseated Kruger as the holder of MoonBeryl.
