It appears I am in possession of a writ of challenge. Most of those that I would have, in the past, gifted such a thing do not grace these rings any longer.

I am therefore putting out a general call for people interested in such a thing. You must be on the standings as the person must be on the current standings and I have one week to present it. (This means if you duel tonight you will be on the standings in the time allotted.)

Please send a missive to me with your name and the reason you think you should get the grant. All entries will be considered equally.

He wasn't sure that "the only appartment I can afford is in a crappy part of town and I'd love a shot at upgrading to a manor house!" would win over the new Baroness, but it was worth a shot. Six made note of the address to deliver his missive to and then wandered off; pondering the wording of his soon to be written letter as he went.

Dear Baroness Ellisa,

Where (and when) I come from, you're a legend. When I was a little girl, you were one of the people I always looked up to. Ellisa Morgan: the greatest Overlady of all time!

I may not look like much on the standings in this time, but back home, I'm a Master at Arms. I've trained with my mother and father in the art of sword fighting since I was a little kid.

It would mean the world for me to have the chance to challenge for a barony. How much sweeter that chance would be if it came from you!
