Mardis Gras Dueling Event Thread

The evening’s festivities and unmentionable acts of debauchery begin where the Mardi Gras parade ends. Several floats and costumed folk will finish up their day of trolling the city streets by arriving in the square to mingle with the gathered crowd.
The marketplace will be covered in what looks like haphazardly thrown beads. Decorations are eclectic, no rhyme or reason, or even much thought put into it. Most notable, however, is the fact that there is no snow to be found! With the help of a little magic, Rhydin’s resident and best Cajun cloaked the surrounding area in a spell that would last through the night, leaving the marketplace as a whole a balmy 75 degrees. The perfect temperature to encourage men and women alike to flash some skin and earn those beads!
Even a few of the local businesses that skirted the edges of the square joined in the fun!
Glitter, lights and music everywhere!
Various booths and tables were set up. Plain white masks, glue, and all the glitter and feathers you could imagine were provided should you like to make a mask. Others offered facepainting.
Available for those who are neither crafty or willing to flash the goods, pre-made masks and necklaces were also for sale.
But the best part? Free food and booze, courtesy of G’nort!
Laugh, drink, flash anyone and everyone! Take advantage of those masks and lay a kiss on a secret crush without giving yourself away. But most of all, enjoy the party and have fun!
