Here is the event thread as promised. Feel free to post any polyvores, pics, or anything pertaining to the event and your character.

Once downstairs, a false archway has been created and decorated with a long red carpet leading into the renovated Arena.



The Arena has been divided off into sections.

Section 1 is a plush seating area for the callers and any patrons that wish to stretch out.



Section 2 contains decorated tables and a buffet.



Section 3 contains some casino slot machines and gaming tables.









Section 4 contains some less formal tables near the ring.

The buffet contains mostly hor d'oeuvres and finger foods but a chef is present to whip up something more upon request.

Of course there is a fully stocked bar with a special bartender brought in ready to make any drink requested.

The cigar and shot girls will be happy to bring you a drink if you are too busy playing the various games to go to the bar. Remember the Arena is a no smoking venue but you can still get a good cigar and look smashing.



The special drink of the evening is the Vesper Martini, obviously.



Let's not forget all of the other colorful and flavorful drinks, however!



And let's remember the theme of the night with a fun little drinking game called Shot Roulette!



The game can be played with any of these specialty shots that will be posted at the bar. Some of these should not be ordered by the easily embarrassed. (click on the picture and then click again to magnify)

For added incentive to dress for this theme, there will be an award given to both the female and male best dressed of the night.

Glamour isn't always a gown. Aaliyah is sporting a lace bodysuit and jacket with high heel pumps. The ensemble is credited to the Terran designer Emilio Pucci. The jumpsuit makes it easy to transition between fighting and the callers couch if needed.

The Merc had expensive tastes when it came to clothing. Something she was able to indulge in here. She also finds ways to secret weapons on her form.

She polished up well and was looking forward to cheering for some friends while her sights were set on the Best-Dressed prize...

Grace showed up, mid-vacation to try her hand for the Talon!

The dark elf chose a more traditional 'battle style' for the tournament: adamantine armor, cunningly crafted for freedom of movement, protected his limbs and vitals. A hooded black spidersilk cloak drank in the light near him, and covered his folded wings.
