Finally someone comes to try and take this annoying rock off my hands. The thing won't shut up, keep having to lock it in my office drawer just to get some peace and quiet. Barring the validation thing, I'll be in touch.

You might have to wait until November, Tass. I don't know how the rules work for this situation since normally a holder can only be challenged once within a given month. However since no challenge ever took place...yeah. I'll abide by what either Matt or Kheldar state on this one.

(( I let Tass know the night of the DQ that I would be moving within the next 2 weeks. Well, I'll be done moving, or should by this weekend. Phone/Internet will be turned on at the new place saturday the 29th. Assuming Murphy and his laws behave, should be able to get this challenge resolved on the 30th.
I apologize for this possibly inconveniencing anyone. But we couldn't pass up lowering rent by $65 and dropping 2 bills entirely lol ))

Let’s see, when did this start? Some time ago Jaycy challenged Arts for the yellow rock and scheduled the challenge the same night of the Diamond quest. Then I guess they both decided that plan wasn’t well thought out and tried their hand at getting the diamond instead. Course you know how that ended, Jaycy got the diamond and decided she didn’t want some little yellow rock anymore, Arts got to go home and curl up with the rock he had… and Handsy Tass decided he wanted in on the action.
Yeah, that was about three weeks ago and Simon’s been on the two to set it up and get it over with, given them a deadline for specifics for the sixth.
Turns out they showed up in Arena on the fifth still needing to set up the date for it and decided that then and there was as good a time as any. Course, so as not to piss of the G Man, we moved the party to the Outback.
The boys skipped over doin anything fancy with the rings and got right down to business. The first match started with Handsy Tass takin Art off his feet, but Arts tied it up again with a well timed defense. Tass followed, kicking his way into a two point lead, but after three pointless rounds, Art started to close the gap when he dropped under Tass’ jab and came up with an elbow. The points followed from there as Arts swept, jabbed and flipped his way to a win in the first match.
Art .def. Tass, 5-3 in 11
The second match saw Arts better prepared for Tass’ incoming legs and he started thing off with a point grabbing punch. Handsy Tass missed an opening the second round, but managed to follow through as he traded jabs with Arts in the third. Then Arts got gun shy in the fourth, but came back to meet Tass with mutual kicks in the fifth and sixth rounds. The two played it safe four two rounds before Handsy Tass did what he does best and got his mitts on Arts, catching the fist he put out and tying up the score and putting them into SUDDEN DEATH. There was a round of can’t touch this as Tass went low and Arts took to the air, then a round with lots of touchin but no scorin as they grappled. Course they made up for it by crashing into each other and each gaining another point. Tass put an end to the second match by avoiding Arts grabby hands and catching him with a return blow.
Tass .def. Art, 6 - 5 in 13
It just wouldn’t be a true fists’ challenge without the Sudden Death or Third Match.
Tass didn’t change it up any to start and paid for it when Arts’ boot met him to take the first point. The hits rolled on from there and he scored the next two points by first catching Tass’ hand and bringing him to the ground and then bringin in a knee while the old man was down. Handsy Tass started closing the gap in the fourth and fifth rounds, first dodging and returning a strike and then by using Arts’ knee as a stepping stone to deliver a higher and better placed kick. But a misread cost him, and Arts reached match point first for the third time in a row. Tass managed to bring the two point lead down to a one point lead when he caught Arts’ fist in another trap. Following that both men played it safe for a round before Art pulled out the spinning back hand to win that match, keep the opal, and possibly suffer some trademark infringement penalties.
Artemus .def. Tass, 5 - 3 in 9
Well defended Arty.
