Since The Wheel will be added to the permanent rings of the Outback according to this post, I humbly suggest that the achievement for winning a duel in that ring be the following:

Round and Round: Win a fight on The Wheel

Bumping this topic since I have seen The Wheel come up in play a few times, whether by the actual bot name (Thank you for adding it in, Kalamere!) or in certain tournaments and/or challenges.

I'm bumping this subject yet again.

I am curious if this ring, The Wheel, will ever get made into an achievement, especially since a few people have fought in the ring since its introduction, either by actually getting it with the random bot selection or having it assigned to people in tournaments.

We (DoF staff) have been reviewing/updating/creating multiple achievements - a ‘Wheel’ achievement is one of those. Right now we don’t have a solid ETA for release but it’s on the list and in the works.

Edit Update: 'Fistmelda's Tusk' is also one of the ones that will be added.

EXCAVATOR - (Duel of Fists) - Defeat the Diamond 10 times
GOLDEN ARCHES - (Duel of Magic) - Defeat the ArchMage 10 times

No idea what it should be called, but can one be added for defeating the Overlord 10 times?

In light of the approval of Kruger's request, I'd like to request a change to the requirement for Squire which reads as
Squire: Become a Squire to a Baron
to be changed to
Squire Become a Squire to a Baron or Overlord.

And that similar changes be made to:
Mentored: Be Mentored by the holder of an Opal DoF
Sorcerer's Apprentice: Be the Neophyte to the Keeper of Air, Water, Fire, or Earth.
to include the Diamond's Mentee and Archmage's Neophyte.

I was actually going to say I think I made a mistake with the grant to Kruger and should probably remove it, though I'd check with the DoS staff first. In light of the post from Max I think it's a larger conversation.

In light of the discussion regarding Sorcerer's Apprentice and which neophytes are eligible, I'd like to suggest the following:

DoS
Achievement: Knight
Requirement: Be the Knight to the Overlord

Based on the format for Squires:
Manor type--Weapon--Glow--Power Pros/cons
Overlord Isle-Halberd--Silver--Enhanced Senses-- Sight, Smell, Hearing, Taste, and Touch are amplified/ Could cause damage to the senses and potentially cause insanity.

Similar rules as for Squires:
Overlord may only release a Knight on their own in order to name a new Knight Once per reign. This does not apply should the Knight achieve the Rank of Warlord. (It was pointed out that DoF allows the Diamond to have two mentees, perhaps the Overlord should be allowed two Knights?)
The stacking rule for a Talon win should apply.
The Knight only gets the fancy if using the weapon.

This would require an amendment to the DoS rules since the Overlord does not currently have a student of any type.

Achievement: Citadel Guardian
Requirement: Be a Neophyte to the Archmage

Note: The Archmage's tower is called The Citadel of the Stars. That's where the idea for the name comes from.

Spell Supremacy - Hold any DoM title for 1 year or longer

All Your Titles Are Belong To Us: Hold every title in every sport throughout your career.

OSensei - Train a Mentee from Glass to Emerald in DoF

Live By The Sword - Train a Squire from Commoner to Warlord in DoS

Magic Fingers - Train a Neophyte from Apprentice to Mage in DoM

The Champ Is Here! - Win the Warlord Tournament, Diamond Quest, and ArchMage Tournament

Maybe revise this one to "Win the All Ranks Tournament in all three sports" or something.

Since we've got a "Defeat the Diamond 10 times" and "Defeat the ArchMage 10 times" Achievement,

Discussed with the rest of staff and we have made this change.

Squire, Mentored and Sorcerer's Apprentice can now be earned by being the squire/mentee/neophyte of the Overlord/Diamond/ArchMage.

Historically this wasn't an option as the Overlord was not granted a squire, and we tried to keep all 3 sports roughly the same for purposes of the achievements. That changed some time ago now and so there's no reason these folks should not also qualify for the award.
