Talk about a busy week on the Isle! We had Duel Master matches on Monday night and a nearly packed house, er Island, on Tuesday night! The sheer magnitude of awesomeness was almost too great when the 5 Keepers and the Legendary Xenograg were gathered on the Island on Tuesday night. Not to mention special guest appearances from Alia, Azjah, Bran, Druid, Gnim & Sandy, Khareth, Lem, Rena, Topaz, Uriko and Vinny.
Twilight Island welcomes KharethDarkblade to the rings! Uriko Belarus and Alia Anor Graham make a return!
The Duels of The Week were called by Azjah on Tuesday night. Rena and Russ fought for 15 rounds with a final tie score of 4.5-4 Rena! Meanwhile in another of Azjah’s rings; The Keeper of Earth, Artemus A. Kurgen, blasted it out with Mage Emeritus Lem DeAngelo. This match went the full 15 rounds and finally ended with the notorious mage bolt/nether ray combo! We know the duelists survived, but the ring itself could probably use some repairs!
Duelists of the Week: Now this is definitely a tough one to call. We’re going to have give out 3 places this week.
In 3rd Place, Mellisandre shut out Uriko 5-0 in only 7. This Baker is serving up pastries and arse whooping! Better choose lines carefully!
In 2nd place we’ve got Alia Anor Graham defeating The Keeper of Fire, Esperwind 5.5-4.5 in 13 rounds!
And rounding out 1st place is Gnimish Gnimoi defeating Russel Strong, both a Keeper and a Mage, 5.5-4 in only 8 rounds! Watch out for the Gnomes! They pack a mighty mage bolt!
Time for a New Caller of the Month! Who was your favorite caller for the month of July? You make the decision and they get to use the Caller of the Month’s teleportation circle! Just send a private message to Duel Lem with your choice!
The Megacast Tournament is next week! Send your registration to DUEL Brig today!

Another busy week, but where is everyone at on Monday nights from 8:00-10:00? I dare you all to come out next Monday and make me call 12 matches at once! Well lets get down to it, sorry for the delayed response in the action from last week but here it is:
Twilight Island welcomes Hojyn back to the Island!
The Duel of The Week was called by Topaz on Monday night. Devan Wallace and Liena Hope, both Enchanters, traded the lead several times before ending round 14 with a score of 4-4. Liena took home the glory though as she wizard bladed her way into victory lane with a score of 5-4 after 15! Look out mages, the Enchanters are ready for action!
Duelist of the Week: I've got to give Felix Pride honorable mention this week for continuing his march to greatness in Duel Master tournament. The Champ is truly unstoppable, however, There is only room for one duelist of the week for this time.
There was a duelist last week who was 3-0. She first beat a dueler of the same rank after an incredible duel of lead changes, she then stepped into the ring and defeated a mage emeritus (who has decided to remain nameless) before heading home for the night. She then returned the following night and fought her Tiny Titan heart out against the legendary Keeper, Etherean Esperwind, and walked away with a 5-4 victory! This week's duelist of the week is............Liena Hope!
Remember folks, we've got a new ranking system for this cycle so every match counts. The best duelist of the cycle will be able to use the Ring of Klytus for the next cycle, granting him or her the use of an advanced spell above their rank. Get those wins in while you can!
The Archmage Tournament is only 2 weeks away! Mages, it's time to step up and give Will a vacation. And if you're not a mage yet, then please come out to the Island and enjoy the festivities as some of our best mages blast each other around. See you all there!

Twilight Island welcomes Isis to the rings!
Mage Vanion Shadowcast also makes a return to the Isle and he’ll be fully reinstated next week before the ArchMage tournament.
The Duel of The Week was called by Azjah on Tuesday night. XanthvanBokkelen and Isis stepped into the ring and it took 13 rounds and 10 points to declare a winner. In the end, Xanth pulled out the win with a score of 5.5-4.5.
Duelist of the Week: Xanth was 2-0 this week as he defeated both Isis and Vanion. This guy, demon, thing, whatever he is has gotta be getting close to becoming a Sorceror. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Xanth, Liena, and Artemus in the next ArchMage tournament!
Some guy named Lem gets honorable mention for securing a shutout, but he does that so often we won’t bother claiming him as the Duelist of the Week.

We saw quite a bit of action this week as several duelists tried to make claim on the Ring of Klytus. Topaz, Xanth, Liena, Lem and Devan all found themselves in a position to move into first place on Tuesday night.
The Duel of The Week was once again called by Azjah on Tuesday night. XanthvanBokkelen and Liena Hope duked it out for 10 rounds. In the end, Xanth pulled out the win with a score of 5.5-4.5.
Duelist of the Week: Topaz was on fire this week! And we don't mean she was getting immolated or anything, she was just that good. Topaz had about as much chance of being contained as Etherean has of making friends. She was 3-1 at the end of Tuesday night!
Ring of Klytus update:
Before Tuesday night was over, the lead for the Ring of Klytus had changed hands 5 times! We started with Lem and Xanth tied for first place, but Topaz secured 3 wins and defeated Lem to secure 1st place in the top bracket. Then, Xanth showed up and challenged Topaz to a match to see who would be the first to hold the Ring. Xanth defeated Topaz and it was assumed that he would take the Ring home, but the young enchanter Devan Wallace was 1 win away from moving into the top bracket and securing 1st place. Xanth quickly moved into the ring with Liena Hope, but she bested him in 7 rounds while Devan and Azjah were still slugging it out to see if he would be able to move into first place. So at this point, we had Topaz and Xanth tied for 1st place and Devan was 1 win away from stealing the Ring as he was leading Azjah 3.5-2 in 7 rounds. Topaz and Xanth decided to have a rematch to settle their score and let the winner deal with Devan. Druid was on the scene and calling rounds faster than Felix Pride defeats DuelMaster opponents, and then just as we all thought we would see the matches to declare a winner, a violent manastorm hit the island and sent us all packing! So who is going to win??? Even we don't know the answer to that just yet. This Sunday, Fight Night, will be the last opportunity to get a match in before the ArchMage Tournament signals the end of the cycle on Monday night.

Twilight Island welcomes Serge Faylus to the rings! Gork and Sprite Argo also make their return!
Even amidst the Archmage tournament challenge, the Island still found time for regular dueling. This was the week that declared a victor in the race for the Ring of Klytus....
The Duels of The Week were once again called by Azjah on Tuesday night. Devan Wallace found himself in 2 back-to-back sudden death matches against Edliameli and Gork. Both matches lasted 14 rounds and ended with a score of 5.5-4.5 and victories for Edliameli and Devan!
Duelist of the Week: Gork makes his presence known as he goes 2-1 during his first week back in action! If memory serves me correctly, he'll be reinstated as a Magician next week when the cycle starts over.
Ring of Klytus update:
Last week we saw Devan in first place at 80% with Topaz and Xanth tied for 2nd at 66%. Xanth claimed a win on Sunday night to move up to 70% and Devan lost a match early on Tuesday night to drop down to 66%. Devan was down, but not out and managed to claim a close victory to secure the lead at 71%! Congratulations to Devan Wallace for earning the right to wear the Ring of Klytus for the next cycle!
