Grayson MacLeod, renegade Baron of Seaside, pressed his challenge to Overlord Damien Mortis on September 1st. Grayson dueled under the tartan colors of Clan MacLeod. Former Overlord Max Quinlan Blue stood as Second. Former Overlord Cletus Ganderfeld stood as Second to Damien.

The Test of Worthiness was invoked as was a Warlord Champion, with both Seconds as the appointed proxies.

Grayson defeated Damien to become the 63rd Overlord of the Duel of Swords. Damien became Baron of Seaside, and Max was awarded the open barony of Dockside as the Champion's prize by the new Overlord.

Max's challenge to Baroness Kaja Adair is therefore moot and has been withdrawn.

It has been brought to my attention that the Overlord aligned the Battlefield Park barony as loyal. He failed to support me when I asked for his help in keeping my children out of the Seaside manor. In fact, his actions directly led to them being taken there.

Therefore, I do not know what I have done to suggest that I may support his reign. Battlefield Park will stand renegade to the Overlord and Nausikaa will not ensure his safety should he choose to step within the district.
