The similarities are eerie (and completely coincidental, I promise!). Beyond the initials and logo, the International Fight League was conceived at the beginning of 2006, and had a relatively short inaugural season. 2007 is supposed to be its first full season. It is also "the world’s first team-based professional mixed martial arts league". Each team puts up one fighter in each of five different weight classes (lightweight [155 lbs.], welterweight [170 lbs.], middleweight [185 lbs.], light heavyweight [205 lbs.], heavyweight [265 lbs.]) and the team to win best of the five wins the match.

I've brought on a couple news writers to add stuff to the front page, so it won't be just me giving you site updates anymore. This morning Chris posted a nice bit about last nights matches.

According to the Main Bracket, Jaycy Ashleana vs. Ruke LaChayne leads to a win for... Goon.

Bug found and fixed, main bracket and all the scoring stuff should be back on track.

Nice writeups on the Madness site. Of course you now dominate the front page! For those that didn't see my announcement on it yesterday, I've created several new stat breakdonws, all accessible from the top left menu on the front page. As always, if you have ideas for other reports you'd like to see, please let me know.
