Complicated Elements
There are two items on the front page that are likely to cause browser trouble or simply not display for everyone. The "Today's Dueling" information, which is a javascript link updater that displays current links to the day's chats and standings, and the "Dueling Web" Flash graphic that houses links to the other dueling sites of TDL, TTBL and the DZ news page.
I'm curious, how many of you either get errors when loading the page, or just don't see these two things at all? I've tested the site using multiple versions and resolutions of IE and Mozilla to try for maximum compatibility, but I can't test all platforms and all computers.
So do tell, how's your web surfing experience?

I've never had any issues with any page of this site. It looks sweet it and it all gels nicely. And I run WinXP on an old P3 750 mhtz using IE 6.0 as my browser. And I usually have descent above average browser securities on cookies and pop-ups to try and avoid garbage. I don't surf the 'Net much anymore, but this is probably one of the sweetest game involved sites I have interest in surfing through and checking out.

I've found that any chat program I've used except AIM for Windows doesn't work right with the links. I use Trillian and I have to "Invite" myself into chat rooms. I don't think his problem probably has anything to do with the site.Spiffy McBang wrote:My roommate can't click the link and get into the room- he has to join the chat manually. He's using AIM... but on a Mac. I don't know how Safari's way of reading links might affect it, all I know is it doesn't work.

I am a Trillian user, too, so my thanks to Lydia for that tidbit.

This worked for me...don't know if it will help anybody else:
I checked my computer and realized there were two versions of IE loaded. I removed one version and updated the version that I kept. Now all my links in the "Todays Dueling" show up.
In fact, I seem to have none of the other conflicts that I was having.
Hope that helps.
