Another Stupid Question
Is it necessary to have a DoS IC folder and a "The Streets" folder?

I think the various Duel IC folders should be for posts that directly relate to the duel(s) themselves... Challenges, Tourneys, Announcements, etc.
Traditionally, the DoS board has been a "Corkboard" in the Arena were messages were kept. Storyline posts were marked as such.
Now, storyline posts can be place in "The Streets" instead... much like how the TDL boards had a "character to character" section and a "storyline" section.

The Streets is basically just a story area for storys that may not coincide with the other three duels (and also for characters/groups who don't want their own folder). For example, if I had Cletus return home to his native Polaris for some type of SL, I wouldn't want that sitting in the DoS folder because it really isn't DoS related. It's just a story I want posted somewhere. Or if I wanted to create a whole new character that will have nothing to do with the duels. If I just want to tell a story, BAM, there it goes.
The sports IC boards remain seperate because the Streets really isn't an IC board (like the DoS corkboard). It's really a place for players to tell a story that may not be character knowledge.
As for the IC and OOC boards not being grouped together, I just feel there needs to be a degree of seperation. Just DoM goers don't want to sift through a DoS rules debate and some DoSers may not care for DoM or DoF IC news/posts. It's good practice to keep things seperate, in my opinion.

The sport-specific storyboards are for stories, notices and news that relate directly to their specific venue. For instance, discussion on whether Baron A is really reliable or a storyline regarding the 11th ring or announcements about the WLT belong in the DoS IC folder. I'd hope that opal storylines would go on the DoF IC boards, and things retlating to the Isle would go in the DoM IC folder.
The Streets is for things that relate to more than one, or none of the specific sports. It was created for those that wanted to tell stories that had little or nothing to do with the duels, but stil pertained to characters we all know and relate to. It was also created for stories that relate to more than one sport, so as to prevent an abundance of cross-posting to two or more IC boards.
So, basically Shakira had the right idea, I just said it in more length.
