Calling all Mages! Come out and test your mettle against your peers,
and see who gets the honor of facing our current Archmage!



Tournament Details

Saturday, December 13th at 8 pm ET, on Twilight Isle.
Late entrants have no more than 5 minutes to arrive.
Seeding will begin at 8:05 pm; casting will begin at 8:10 pm.
Format will be determined by the number of entrants.




Seeding

Determined by the most recent Ring of Klytus (RoK) rankings.
Early registration will be cut off on Thursday, December 11th at 9:55 pm ET.
Any late registrants or walk-ins will be ranked below early registrants.
Registrants tied with the same ranking will be seeded by WoL.

The Right to Challenge Our Current Archmage

Second Place

The Keeper’s Blessing

First Option for Use
Allows the wielder of this grant the ability to use a special one time use Elemental Fury crystal within a challenge against a Keeper. This crystal will allow its wielder the use of Elemental Fury up to three times within a challenge (should the challenge go to 3 full duels). The power of the Elemental Fury Crystal can only be used once per match. The Keeper’s Blessing is available for use until the next Archmage Tournament.

Second Option for Use
Allows the wielder to submit the Blessing to the Duel of Magic staff to be redeemed for a Challenge Grant that can be awarded to any duelist, ranked Enchanter or Apprentice, of their choice. This grant will allow its wielder to challenge one of the four elemental keeper titles so long as the keeper is not under a grace period. This grant must be used within 14 days.

(( Should second place go to a current Elemental Keeper, they can only select the second option to give the grant away, and cannot select the EF crystal since they’re already a Keeper. ))

It was my pleasure to preside over tonight’s Archmage Tournament. We had two participants this evening, so the winner was determined by best-of-three.

Archmage Challenge 1/3/2026

Tonight we called the Archmage Challenge. All duels took place in Ring Olympus.

Match 1: Archmage Ilnaren took an early lead scoring full points in the first two rounds. Round three saw a nullification of spells, lots of fireworks but no scoring. Round four had both duelists scoring, Tower of Fire Keeper Delahada getting on the board, but Doran retained his two point lead. Sal took full points in the next four rounds, tying the score in round six, going to match point in round seven, and claiming victory in round eight.

Match 2: Started with Doran scoring full points in the first three consecutive rounds, garnering a three points to zero lead. Round four finally saw Sal getting on the board, but Doran also scored, keeping his lead at three points. He added another half point in Round five, but in round six Sal managed to regain that half point. He scored a full point in round seven before Doran took the match in round eight.

Match 3: Once again, Doran took the early lead, scoring half points in the first two rounds. Both duelists scored in round three, Sal getting on the board with one point, while Doran managed a point also to keep his one point lead. Sal tied it in the fourth round, took the lead in round five and extended it to two points in round six. Round seven was a null defensive round, but Doran scored a full point in round eight. He tacked on half points in rounds nine and ten bringing the match and challenge to Sudden Death. Round eleven had Sal scoring the final point to win the match and the challenge.
