Containment Room Haunted Attraction in Dockside!

Post by Yuina Hirano »

As promised by posters decorating various places in a Kabuki related advertising campaign, the Containment Room Haunted Attraction is now open in time for the season of scares! Built with the help of Kabuki TV producers, the attraction is built within a warehouse near the bulk freight terminal in at Rhydin's Docks. It features three stories with an abandoned asylum theme. Will guests survive the ghosts of the diabolical Dr. Kleburg and the spirits of his former patients? The rumors were confirmed - some of the members of the local idol group Hanami Harmony will be utilized as actors within the haunt! Guests should expect each floor of the haunt to take about 15 minutes to traverse, with an opportunity at each staircase to turn back and go to the exit should the thrills prove too intense! A collectable 'I Survived The Containment Room' t-shirt is included in the price of each ticket and additional merchandise is available for purchase in the gift shop.

(This is a board based event, please feel free to post outfits or just mention of visiting the attraction. Also feel free to reference having heard of it or of a character having visited and survived (or turned back!) in play. )

Dressing for the season in a vintage inspired long sleeve top that was obviously a few sizes too big for her and slipping over one shoulder, but that's the look she's going for! Cut off jeans, boots, and can't forget the lace cat ears to finish the whole Halloween-esque look. She was chatty and eager to visit the attraction! With claims of how she'd be taking Meru's future-to-be-won t-shirt once this was all over to sleep in.

Except.. Jin didn't quite make past the second floor! The scare that caught her had sent her fainting to the floor while poor Meru, even if for a split second, thought Jin had died from fright! Thankfully she hadn't!

In the end it would be Meru who went through the attraction not once - but twice - to make sure Jin got her shirt after the latter refused to go back inside. It's okay, Jin found a special Halloween Boo-tastic Blend drink from a nearby shop to sip on while waiting.

On Halloween Eve, Maggie accompanied several older teen students from Harker's Academy to the escape room. While most of the group made it through to the end with hearts pounding and some laughing over having been scared out of their wits, a few took advantage of the escape doors on the first and second floors. Those that didn't brave the whole thing were showing off their gift shop purchases to those that finally joined them. They wound up the evening with a hearty snack from one of Dockside's food vendors.

The sukeban of the Only Club entered alone, though around the same time as some of her friends so they could wait for each other to go out and talk about it afterwards they could personally see how fearless she was.

She dressed for the occasion, though she (reluctantly) let someone else hold onto her machete while she went through the Containment Room.

All the way through the three floors, she walked in stony silence, greeting actors and pop-up props with expressions ranging from flat to disdainful to vaguely menacing (though at times these were deployed to cover delighted grins). She took a t-shirt, bought souvenirs for everyone in the Only Club, and when asked what she thought:

"It was good. I liked it. I want to live there. You should go."

Then she waited expectantly for whoever it was to go inside, too.
