Tucked away deep within an alley of an alley of yet another alley of Dragon’s Gate - just when you think yourself lost - lies a quiet rainstorm and the comfy, relaxing walls of a special little cafe run by Demon Lord Mira Burke in search of peace and family. What were once the former bones of her father’s musty tavern many years ago, Endless Nights Cafe now represents life and rebirth. A warm fire crackles in the main seating area and yellowed Edison bulbs cast warm light upon shelves of free books, dark wood, leather furniture and black slate countertops. Speakeasy-style back rooms offer a quiet, private reprieve from the sights and sounds of the cafe. On the bar rests a restored Victoria Arduino espresso machine, dozens of customer-applied stickers and the shelves behind rest glass containers of only the freshest coffee and finest dried herbs. If one wanted a particular brewing technique or blend, it could be achieved within the lit cafe at the end of the darkness.

The establishment is open 24/7, save for the rare times the closed sign hangs in the window. Mira runs the counter regularly, along with a very polite lich by the name of Ordark, the Grandiloquent. Other part-timers include an aloof dark elf with no sense of décor named Ussithra, a sweet-tempered, mute high elf maiden named Lairelot and many more curious strays that Mira has taken under her wing.
