Kids, ever wanted to put your parents or caregivers in daycare? Here is your chance! Enjoy the fun of a carnival while the adults take part in a wine tasting and casino games on the main floor of the Observatory Complex. Adults sponsoring a child or children are welcome to join in. Rhydin’s orphanages as well as several youth mentorship programs will be taking part.

Carnival rides and amusements for all ages will be available featuring a carousel, Ferris wheel, roller coaster, bumper cars. Food booths from various Rhydin restaurants and eateries will be providing tasty treats for all to enjoy. Other rides will be provided for children in the 2-8 age group that ride alone. Care will be provided for the tiny tots under two.

Family friendly movies will run all weekend in the conference room. Pillows and sleeping bags will be provided at no cost and can be taken home as a souvenir of the event. Face painting, hair braiding, and other crafty spring activities ( including, but not limited to, tie dye shirts, paper basket making and creating your own balloon animals) will be going on through Easter night!

Craft demonstrations: Lyssa Bjornson of Bjornson Custom Crafts will be showing how she creates custom, handmade dolls.

((This will be a board event. Many thanks to Karma’s player for the adult daycare idea. Pharlen is handling the Easter part of things! More to come.))

Pharlen, er, the Easter Bunny, was simply too busy with the new baby to perform her Easterly Duties, so, she dubbed the Elder and Grumpier Desdenova to take over her yearly chores. He, in turn, promptly put out a request for assistance with the creation and delivery of goodies, and of course, roped in his little brother to help...

And SO...

Several giant killer Peeps are on the loose through town. Fortunately, they are also delicious.

Meantime, don't forget to lend an Eastery Hand! Bakers and candy makers and basket packers and grass growers and Bunny Delivery Systems are needed!

Rides for the small fry were set up for the weekend. Adults/teens are able to ride along on all but the spaceship/rocket due to size limits for riders.

Mahjong and blackjack? Mai would be frequenting both throughout the day and seemed rather fine with chain smoking while slapping down tiles and/or cards.

On Friday after the Overlord Challenge, Pearl and Velen joined the spectators at the fireworks show.

Their band, Gaelic Fire, which also featured their younger counterparts, Maggie Harker and Doran Ilnaren, took the stage late Saturday afternoon. Students from the New Haven Dance Academy helped end the performance by demonstrating the broadsword dance.
