Winterfest 2021: The Yule Ball (Dec 17th)

[Jaycy Ashleana]

Jaycy's companion for the evening was Hope Naharis and while they mingled with friends through the night, Jaycy spent a good portion of the night in the blonde's company. They meandered the courtyard of sculptures, and ate, and danced, at points engaging in animated conversation and other moments were spent quietly. Jaycy even (laughingly) agreed that Hope deserved a present from Krampus when they stopped to see him... but the silver-haired woman had no such luck; Hope declared she didn't! (Of course Jaycy got one anyway.)

[Kira Adia]

Kira took her time in deciding her look for the ball. This was the event that had marked the beginning of her life in RhyDin the year before, so the Yule Ball held a special place in her mind. Seeing Ellie’s in progress photos helped stir her mind in the matter, and she soon contacted Felix to work his magic and create her a dress for an evening with her loves. In the end, she had a look she felt suited the occasion.

[Sofia Exactness]

Sofia arrived alongside Angel and Brinna, and spent a good amount of time that night explaining how she looked the way she did. She mostly mingled and resisted the urge to help clean the tables, but was spotted on the dance floor a couple times with friends.

The Outfit

A black high collar dress with a long skirt and a cross motif.

And a new necklace, a gift, that seemed to fit with the colors for the evening. A moon and star filled with blue gemstones.

The Body

Sofia's slender porcelain exterior was glazed an ice blue, glossy all over, and contoured with darker shades to add definition to her facade of human musculature. On her face, the contouring continued, but her lips were also painted in navy, and a dramatic eye look in dark blues was present. Stained-glass green eyes had been swapped for black chrome that caught every bit of light that came at them.

The Hair

An ombre from black to light blue ran through her long, wavy hair, that seemed purpose-made to fall just the way she wanted.

[Fae Pendragon]

Fae would be attending. Of course! It was a party full of sparkle, pretty people and sweet treats!

[Koyan]

Koyan arrived in the company of a certain Greek. He'd chosen a deep blue suit for the affair, no tie of course, and the top button of his shirt thrown open. A pair of boots with steel on the toe and heel completed the attire.

[Mira Burke]

Mira was absolutely going to the ball with Kira and Ellie... and she decided to go super simple with her outfit:



She was rocking a suit, full Takarazuka Revue-style. Big hair, big makeup... style said 'masc', but Mira was all femme.

Desdenova, an entire inch taller than last year, and still not as tall as most of his friends and family, showed up in rather steampunky attire, rich blues and blacks, trimmed in elaborate silvers. He left his wavy black hair loose, not a hat in sight. He graciously escorted Amaris along, and Maggie if she made it this year. Food and Dancing, that sounded epic to him.

Amaris on Des' arm would come dressed in blues. Blue live roses woven through blue hair, her heels laced up her legs, and the opal sparkling as she moved. Her face carefully made up, snowflakes dotting her cheeks and nose like freckles

Maggie arrived with Des and Amaris. She wore a blue lace gown to compliment their attire as well as a set of snowflake shaped jewelry.
