Mister Simon,
It's almost my birthday so I'm treating myself.
You're the best of the best as far as Barons go and our last meeting was spectacular. So I'd like to take another shot at it, if you'd oblige me.
I challenge for Battlefield Park (again).
Respectfully,
Karma

Don't suppose another soirée in the Armory would persuade you to change your mind?
Challenge accepted.

Re: Challenge for Battlefield Park
... Suturi ... and I were there to witness this challenge tonight!
Karma dueled tonight under a purple and black banner. Angela Aronowitz stood as her Second, in absentia. And, not surprisingly, Caleb Feren was her person of honor!
The Baron, in seeking his eighth defense, dueled under his yellow and blue banner and without a second. However, as always, he dueled for the honor of the Van Duran-Simon family… Koy, Thia, and Malachite.
The Baron determined this would be a best of three. He only needed two.
In the first match, Matt took the lead to start but Karma tied it up. She'd never have a lead, though, as by the fifth round Matt took the lead for good and widened it to 4-2 a round later. She came close at 4-3, but in the ninth round Matt ended it as he cut her down, winning 5-3.
The second match started the same with the defender scoring first blood and Karma tying it a round later. However, Matt would control this match and by the seventh round it was 4-1. She scored one more point, but in the end (the ninth again), he stopped her attack and secured the defense.
Matt def. Karma, 5-3 in 9 rounds.
Matt def. Karma, 5-2 in 9 rounds.
Congrats Matt on your eighth defense, and well tried Karma!
