Echoes of the Past, Winds of the Future will deal with subjects, including the murder of a young child, that can evoke deep emotional responses regardless of how graphically a scene is written. (For the curious, that is who Collie saw in the Red Dragon's bar mirror.) Customs that were acceptable in 16th century, such as the marriages of young teenagers to cement political alliances, is not generally accepted in the present day. However, it is a part of my character's history.
