Suggestions for Sanity!
I thought perhaps we could have a thread where we could share ideas, resources and the like during these chaotic times.
For example, you could post online resources like Zoo Cams, Josh Gad's bedtime stories, or a free e-course for learning a foreign language.
I think you get the idea!
You're all creative, intelligent and as a community we can prevent the Stir Crazy and instead, turn the negatives into positives.

P.S. I apologize in advance if this post is a bad idea or could pose potential problems for staff. Please feel free to delete it or move it if it's better suited for a different forum!

And then one day,
One magic day he passed my way.
And while we spoke of many things,
Fools and kings,
This he said to me,
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return"

I'm sure I'll add more, but off the top of my head:
A free e-course in French
Vocal exercises with a virus twist

Free YMCA online classes: https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/loc ... 07611.html, https://ymca360.org
Offline: Board Games. There are SO MANY. You should be able to find a theme/type you might like. And more games these days are coming out with solo modes.

Steam has some free games going on.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/442070/Drawful_2/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/7974 ... snatchers/
Probably others but I don't have the links. Roll20 also has some free modules to play for anyone who's bored and wanting to mess around with D&D or Call of Cthulhu.

Amazon has a bunch of free Kindle books to look through. They have a free PC app, not sure about Mac.
If your local public library has digital access and you already have a membership, you should be able to access those those books and other media. For instance, if you live in Central Texas and have a membership at one of the libraries listed, this site should be accessible to you. https://ctdl.overdrive.com/
If you've ever thought of exploring your family history or building a family tree, there are couple sites that offer a 14 day free trial to search records. I don't recommend using those trials concurrently. Two of those sites are https://www.ancestry.com/ and https://www.myheritage.com/
If you're a Sims 3 player, you are welcome to poke some of my personal creations and fiddle with them
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... c?ths=true
They are presented as is. Sims store items, unless you have the same items, will default to other related content.
An info list including a list of EPs, SPs, and other content used in each build, links to pictures, and alternate download links is at

Re: Suggestions for Sanity!
Physical activity has been helping me a lot.
There's an app I like called Push-Ups PRO. I think there is a free version as well. You place your phone on the ground in front of your face and lower yourself until the tip of your nose touches the screen. You do sets of push-ups, escalating your total number until you can do a certain amount in a row. It starts with 20 then goes to 50 and then to 100. It will challenge you every time to do as many as you can, but I have to say, it starts out easy enough that you can just keep building from there and in weeks time you will find yourself doing more push ups in a row than you did the week before if you stick with it.
Chris Hemsworth just announced today that he's giving his workout app, Centr, away for free. I've used this in the past and it is also challenging but will start you from a spot where you can build up a nice rhythm and make strides.
The 10s beginner workout is a great way to get up and start going.

There are a ton of beginner bodyweight workouts on Youtube, these are some of my favorites.

I really love amusement parks (and DisneyWorld), and I thought this was a great discovery. It's a youtube channel full of Virtual Disney Rides to watch. You don't even need a VR headset to enjoy them!
