Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
To match Pearl's snow-shaded attire, Velen wore a suit of wintry white.

Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
Once again the landscaper bypassed tradition and didn't wear a gown.

Doran opted for a jacketless combo, with an ice-blue vest to keep with the Ice theme.

Icy white vest, tie, pants, and shoes were Ebon's nod to the Winter Ball theme, though he retained his usual aesthetic with a "black ice" shirt and buttons.

For the Governor's Ball, Vaeluthil wore a crown of stag horns paired with a flowing dress, sans shoes despite the cold.
Though she did not partake in the food or drinks, she did spend a short time twirling her dance on the dance floor and at one point dropped by to bid Max hello.

To complement his lovely wife’s attire, Ransom wore a three-piece suit in dove gray with a satin-edged lapel, and a snowy white shirt. He accessorized with a silver watch, a shimmering silver tie and pocket square, and a pair of black dress boots, which matched his woolen overcoat.
Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
Mist showed up with Amaris, of course, and took advantage of the protection from cold spells that the little sprites were offering. As always he was looking forward to getting in a lot of dances with a lot of people, and a dance with Amaris, of course. Otherwise, he tended to keep to himself more or less.
(No hat, I just really didn't like the model's face and was too lazy to pop it into photoshop. )

Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
The Blackthornes made a striking appearance at the Winter Ball.
Rachael shone in her silver halter-bodiced, full-skirted ballgown, accented with silver and sapphire snowflake jewelry: necklace, earrings and hair ornaments. Her usual black leather gloves were exchanged for a white lace version, and her trenchcoat was replaced by a full length white velvet gown lined in white fox fur. Silver glitter pumps completed the ensemble for the evening.
Ian was a study in black and silver, wearing a black tux with a silver shirt. Small bursts of silverly light could be seen twinkling from the black areas.

Conner going with a blue tux in deference to the night's theme. The bow tie stayed tied for approximately five minutes after he arrived and hung open the rest of the night along with the top button of his shirt.

Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
Ishmerai had dared to mention that he didn't think it was a great idea that she attend the ball because she was still injured, but Jewell had silenced that objection: "I am the Overlord and Diamond. I'm going."
Her most grievous injuries (namely the wound on her back), were hidden beneath the chic little dress she had chosen for the evening. The only one visible was the livid, angry cut across her face that she made no effort to hide with her blue hair swept to the side.
She was on her knight's arm the entire night, which wasn't long. She came, she mingled, she danced, and then she went home before the fatigue was clear on her face.

Eden was excited to be at another ball! Everybody dresses so pretty!
Was there a theme? She didn't know about it if there was, but she sure hoped everyone liked her dress!
She did the beading herself! It's a rainbow! See? And the shape of her dress was just perfect! She didn't even have to sew panels for her wings!

Devrim had chosen something.....a touch more traditional. For him. There was ice in the diamond suspended from the mala necklace.
And pinned to the right breast of the sherwani jacket beneath the scarf, a touch of fire.

Re: Winter Ball -- Ice
The theme of the Governor’s Ball may have been Icy and in a Frozen Wintery Wonderland that could have rivaled Queen Mab’s fortress castle, but that didn’t mean that Lisa would be steering away from the classic colors that she was known to often wear. So it was no surprise when she told the handmaidens that she and her wife Nayun would be wearing black and gold to the evenings event. Besides, any excuse to wear her fur upon arrival was always fun. They stayed long enough to let Lisa flash her wolfish smile to most there, get a few dances in and a quiet private moment by the cozy fireplace before deciding to return home.

Behold... The Governor.
She couldn't resist the kitsch and didn't even try. While her husband Jack showed up in sleek black, Pharlen had all of the sequins.
No one was banned... YET.
