Christmas Time in the Arena

Post by PC »

A giant Christmas Tree was erected in the foyer of the Arena to greet duelists and patrons alike after their descent down the historical stairs from the Red Dragon Inn

A sign left at the table beside the tree reads: Sign your name and place your own ornament! Santa will be watching and make sure all good girls and boys who add to the tree are given a gift on Christmas day!

- Na-rae Takamine
Coordinator of the Duel of Swords & Arena Owner

(( OOC: Respond to this post with your character's ornament submission to the tree! All participants will be given an icon for their profile as well as a special hidden gift after Christmas. ))

Izumi emerged from the office with Lisa, Mini Lisa that is, to add an ornament to the tree! Mini Lisa required being picked up to reach the branch that was to her liking for the ornament she picked from an assortment at the store.

On Tuesday evening Lisa could be seen surrounded by a collection of goblins from Twilight Isle, all of whom were hanging painted porcelain and wooden christmas ornaments on the tree in the Arena. Lisa's ornament however did not come from a decorate your own box set (sold now in the Gift Shop for a limited time only!), but was procured by her favorite Tengu.

Maggie hung her ornament on the tree. She'd painted it with some help from a few local artisans.

Sometime, in the middle of the night, this ornament appeared on the tree. No matter how many times someone tries to remove it, it will always reappear.

Placed high upon the tree, but with a tendency to relocate itself. The ornament from Red Orc Brewery features the logo from Mad Fairy ale. If you listen closely, you might hear fairies singing holiday carols (sometimes with naughty lyrics inserted). Touching the ornament will elicit the sounds of tittering fairies.

Tippletoe hung a home-made ornament with strips of sheet music placed into a glass ball. It was hung just before her shift on Thursday, December 12th.

Playing off of her and Eri's costumes at the K.S.C.S. Halloween dance, Mallory brought an ornament from their favorite cartoon show:

During the 12/12/19 shift at the Arena:

Rachael's measured strides took her to the Christmas tree. She soon hung a small iridescent globe ornament on the tree. Holographic images on the ornament's surface flashed in alternating rotation. Among the images were groups of various coloured kittens in different groupings, along with a ginger Tom and a white Persian Queen, and a handsome raven haired and bearded man paired with the Dark Baroness.

Doran's contribution to the Arena Christmas tree was inspired by both the season and music.

Late Friday night Yuzuki came to the arena for her weekly job of restocking the arcade crane machines and depositing the games coin boxes. After she finished but before she left, she made sure to hang a reindeer ornament she'd picked on the Arena's tree.

Eden added her hand-made ornament to the tree on Saturday the 14th.

I found this adorable ornament from this etsy shop, trellis & thyme. You can find it here.
