You've come a long way from entering the Overlord Squire Tournament I held awhile back. Proud of you. So hopefully you won't take it personally when I challenge for Battlefield Park. It was a coin toss between you and Alasdair over in New Haven since these are the last two I need to complete the list and it looks like you were the (un)lucky one. Drop by Hangman sometime after you accept, I'll treat you to lunch and we can talk times.

For the most part, I tend not to take any of this personally, especially when someone of your dueling celebrity offers such nice compliments. I've come to understand that in the latter part of the 20th century and in the 21st that reaching certain milestones is very important to those who pursue sports professionally (or even semi-professionally) and given the modest empire you've managed to build in the rings, the notion doesn't surprise me. I can very much respect the goal and look forward to making you work for it.

I apologize that other matters prevented me from responding before now, but if the offer still stands, I'll stop by the Hangman tomorrow for that lunch. I look forward to catching up with you.
