I’d like to take the time to extend a shout out and thanks to the Callers that keep these sports alive and running. It is more often than not a thankless job, and I’ll be honest: any time someone thanks me OOC for calling a tournament, the rare shift or challenge, it completely brightens my day / night. Too often I personally get caught up in the dueling itself and it slips my mind, so I apologize to those whom I haven’t thanked.

Callers are volunteers, and boldly speaking for most – we enjoy doing it, sure, but to know that duelers out there are grateful for what we’re doing, helps immensely.

Specifically I’d like to thank two people off the bat:

Duel Sadie for calling what looked to be a busy Sunday night and for staying for 4 hours when the shift (correct me if I’m wrong here) is only 3 hours. Maybe some people don’t see what the big deal is, filling in another hour, but it’s akin to someone walking in a restaurant 5 minutes before they close and wanting the chef to make them 4 course meal. You won’t be turned away, but remember that kindness *always* helps. So BIG PROPS to Sadie for calling a busy shift last night!

In addition: thanks to Duel Sabine for subbing on Saturday night, especially with Madness matches on the line. Subbing often seems like a scramble because it’s almost never realized that a substitute caller is needed until it’s past shift time. (I’m horrible about checking the caller board to see if a sub is needed.)

So thank you Ladies for stepping in and seeing that this year’s season of Madness continues on!

Thank you :)

I'll shout out to Duel Eden who came in early Saturday night even though she wasn't feeling well. That was awesome sauce of her. Thanks Eden!

I wanted to thank Jewell for doing Madness predictions this year. It's always nice to see new and/or different people contributing articles.

hehe well Ellisa, Jewell has a very particular set of standards that really has absolutely nothing to do with skill and a whole lot to do with gender and "sleep-ability" ^.^

I'm sure it will Ellisa!

I was also super excited to see Baroness Lirssa up to something this morning.

Huge props to Sabine for putting together a theme and everything for the Double DoF Challenge last night. Going into it I just figured it'd be cool to have both challenges on the same night and then there goes Sabine with all of the cool ideas and added details that made the night engaging and fun for everyone.

Thanks Sabine!

There have been multiple threads made for the community to use for some discussions, some that we don't all share the same thoughts and feelings about, but we've been keeping it civil and respecting each other and I just felt that was worth some praise. It's nice to have these healthy ideas and thoughts bouncing around.

I appreciate the kind words. It's very encouraging. It's my hope that other people will read the comic and the posts and be motivated to get Towers of their own for writing purposes, or to just have fun.

Don't forget to write Bob letters. Fan mail starts this Friday.

Not to knock anyone else's posts/threads but between Tara's rantings/SL/letters and Bob's comics, I find my happy place a lot.

Thank you both for the grins and laughs.
