IFL 2014 Registration is now open!

Player Registration:
* Returning Players: Please visit the site (http://ifl.duelingzone.org) and confirm that you are still able to log in. (the login link is on the top right of the home page.) DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT IF YOU CANNOT LOG IN. If you have any issues, drop me a PM/IM/EMail and I will work with you to get your account back to a functional state. Feel free to update any items for your personal bio.

* New Players: Whether you will be on a team or just want to have your character's name entered into the FreeAgent pool or be a volunteer caller (I'm looking at you, Peaches), you will need an account on the IFL site. The registration page is here. Please do fill out the character bio information as it will show up on the player cards. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. See this post from last year for slightly more detailed information.

Team Registrations
* Team registration should take place in this thread, by posting the required information (see below).
* Teams must have a minimum of 5 members, ideally they will have 6. You may register 7 if you like, but I think 6 is really the best team size unless you are a team full of alts.
* Players may only enter 2 characters in the league (even if one is a non-dueling manager)
* No player may captain more than 1 team. You may assistant captain a 2nd team, but this is not reccomended.
* Please remember that when your two teams face each other, you MUST sit out one of them. To this end it might be a good idea to let your captain know your alt.

* Team logo if (a) you have one (recommended) and (b) it hasn't changed from last year. Logos should be 150px x 150px. I can resize if this is a problem for you, but please at least attempt to make it square.

League Schedule for 2014
* Team Registration: Sept. 29th - October 13th
* Administrative pause: October 13th - October 26th (time for me to do the schedule or maybe hunt up another team if we need one).
* Week 1 fighting: October 27th - November 5th
* Week 2 fighting: November 3rd - November 12th
* Week 3 fighting: November 10th - November 19th
* Week 4 fighting: November 17th - November 26th
* Week 5 fighting: November 24th - December 8th (extended week due to Thanksgiving)
* Week 6 fighting: December 1st - December 10th

Other dates and a playoff schedule will be added to this list after the administrative week, once I know how many teams we're looking at.

Captain recruitment:

From what I can tell, we have as many as 3 teams not returning from last year (I'm told MRC is out, but have not spoken to Cass. No word on CoM either way, but I haven't seen Aenlyn or Rak in some time and note that Shadow jumped ship). We do appear to have 1 new team (Bob), which would put us at 6 in the worst case scenario.

Six is a workable number, but I'm fairly sure we could pull together enough people to bump that up one or two IF we can get people to captain the team(s). I'd pick one up myself, but found in TDL that it's a bad idea to try running the league and captaining a team at the same time.

SO - If you are at all interested in Captaining a team, speak up. At this point I have no doubt that we could get you a roster of 6 people if you're willing to lead them. The gig really isn't that bad. Ask Kruger. He's back for a 2nd season with the Rock Hards.

Challenging and less-than-fun personal matters are going to make it impossible for me to rally the CoM troops this season and run the team, unfortunately, which is a new development as I'd been looking forward to IFL for a long time. As-is, I'll just be playing one character this season, and not Captaining a team.

I would be more than willing to run a team, even though I am already participating on two. I realize this isn't doable with the rules, however it would simply be for the league over all. If there's anyway I could make it work, I'd love to.

ETA: I would need a highly competent (like.. someone who actually knows what they're doing since I do not) assistant captain that is not captain/assistant on another team obviously.
