To the players of Myria and Serichi, I am all for you playing chicks who are bitches to people, but to rag on people about things that are sometimes hard to find in the reorganization of the website for us older players who are used to different rules and style of organization is actually pretty weak role-play IMHO. Give people a break and quick picking on people for the small stuff, you seriously make the message boards not fun to read regardless if I am involved or not.

There are enough haters in the real world without it having to be so pervasive here.))

I am proceeding with my challenge as I have been informed by the sport officials that my challenge is indeed valid and can proceed.

Rule Number 3 of the current Universal Terms of Challenge.

3. A challenge is not considered complete until the results are posted in the Standings. And where not specifically addressed all challenges must be answered within one week of validation (by the date and time the validation notice is sent out) and dueled within two weeks of the response. Any challenge not responded to within one week, setting a time and place, shall be considered an abdication.

-The completion of Challenges as mentioned the DoS Rules, as they currently stand, is required to be posted in the Standings to be considered valid. Alignment is not. Regardless of what the Standings stated, Lem's declaration of Loyalty on the 3rd was binding.

HOWEVER.

Because of Rule Number 3, Ellisa's official date of ascension to the rank of Overlord occurred on 7/8. Therefore any alignments made did not become valid until this date as well. Lem's defense on 7/6 was still as a Renegade Baron under Overlord Rand alTan. His alignment of Loyalty became valid on 7/8. Therefore the Loyal grace period does not apply and Elijah's challenge is therefore valid.

As Elijah rescinded the Challenge due to a misunderstanding in the rules by various parties, I'm allowing him to have first chance at Challenging Lem. If he chooses to decline, then others may step in.

Also, as a word to the community, until a member of the DoS Staff has declared validity or invalidity of a Challenge, please do not make assumptions on the rules.
