On Monday, September 28, 2009, I was honored to officiate the challenge between Warlady Teagan Rielea and the current Overlord, Tasslehofl Momus. The Warlady secured her right to challenge for Overlord as a prize in the latest Warlords' Tournament.

The Warlady, as is her custom, dueled without standard, colors, second, or Lord of Honor. The Overlord did not duel under a standard or color; his second was Alais d'Nitesong and his Lady of Honor was Kitty Helston, both in absentia.

The Overlord elected for a single duel to decide the title, and the match was underway.

The match started with a 50/50/90 in the Warlady's favor, and after a match of blades low, the Overlord once again drew level with some nifty defensive footwork. A timely parry re-established the Warlady's lead, and another 50/50/90 play doubled her lead. The Overlord was able to halve the lead by catching the Warlady trying to Billie Jean.

After a null, a trade, and another null, the Overlord sent the match to sudden death by lunging over the Warlady's cut. The Overlord went high to attempt to take the match, but the Warlady was ready for it and ducked under the attack to take the match.
