ArchMage Challenge
Tuesday night, November 6th saw the winner of the archmage tournament, Lem DeAngelo go up against the current Celestial Keeper, Will Wulfson.
All the hoopla and pomp was forgone so they could get right to battle.
The first duel started with Will scoring first, bolting the ghostly Lem. The nect round was null and them Lem inched forward a bit. Lem took his first and only lead though in round 4, using Brig's favorite spell to ingulf Will's artic chill. The current keeper though faught back, attacking Lem's mind then never giving up the lead again. In nine rounds, Will defeats Lem 5.5-2 to claim the first duel.
Duel two saw Lem take a small lead in the first round then bringing out his big gun to increase his lead in the second. That was the only time though that Lem's big gun worked for him. The next four rounds saw the ray used, helping Will but useless for Lem. Lem, though, tied the score at 3 in round 7, moving away from Will's rocks then the Keeper took the lead in round 8 and never gave it up again, defeating Lem 5-3.5 in 10.
Congratulations to Will for a fine defense and to Lem for putting Will though his paces.
